Malmo quickly followed up their best result of the season against Salzburg with a 2-1 win over top of the table Gothenburg. They remain four points off the pace but whatever form issues they have had in recent months appear to be resolved.
Champions League football was a harsh experience for Malmo last season. They qualified after beating Salzburg 3-0 in the play-off round, coincidentally the same score they beat the same opponents by in the last round. While Salzburg went on to top Celtic’s Europa League group, Malmo lost home and away to Juventus and Atletico Madrid, winning their only points in a home win over Olympiakos.
I’m sure Celtic will have scouted yesterday’s game in Malmo and will have learned more about the home team than Malmo learned about Celtic during yesterday’s stroll in the park at Firhill. We will have seen them at their best, they will have seen us scarcely breaking sweat.
Ronny will have an idea of the extent of the challenge ahead. Malmo might not be a match for Juventus or Atletico but they know how to play European football. We will all have an important job to do at Celtic Park next week.

Just had a few pints at the Red Lion, Gatwick airport, waiting for my flight to Inverness. Looking out to the main airside concourse for about an hour. I saw 2 x West Ham tops, 2 x Barca tops (child), 2 x Celtic tops (one new hoops, one old black and green vertical stripe away top), one Chelsea top, and one top I couldn’t identify.
I declare Celtic are the winners of the first Hunderbirds is bored Airport footie top cup :-))

Mighty Tim: I checked on YouTube for links to Celtic Storm before I posted that he would provide the music at Easter 2016. He isn’t on YouTube which surprises me. He does plenty of gigs at Celtic events and is probably best known for the session in the foyer at the AICSC annual charity dinner. It’s a great night and he plays from around 12.30am until 4.30am.
I will try and find other links for him but I will see him on September 5th and ask him if their are any internet links for him.

Seems that lawn mowers can find your missing white dog turds, and give an audible alert :-)

It does seem however that the poos only turn white once they have been exposed for a few days. I’ll tell you one thing, they are seriously hard, you should hear the noise when my mum drives over them with the lawnmower!”

See Walker was rolled out by Sky to tell us how wrong it was for John Collins to say what he did. Would like to have seen these guys living in the past and having the audacity to make anti-Celtic statements to Mr Stein. Can just picture it. They would never have recovered. Another thought. During the halcyon days of urban dog turds in the ’60’s and ’70’s, white of course, was only one of many colours, that were frequently smeared over the hall carpet when I got home.
As “bagging” is more the norm. Could it be that someone, somewhere is stock PILING. (pun intended) whites.to be unleashed on an unsuspecting public in the future.
Or have I taken that too far?
