Script written for Scepovic

886

With John Guidetti ineligible, Anthony Stokes is manager Ronny Deila’s first choice striker for Europa League action.  Anthony arrived at Glasgow Airport this morning but was sent home ill.  He was a certain starter, so whatever plans the manager made, a rethink is in order.

Stefan Scepovic made his goal-scoring breakthrough against Astra last month, and followed up with a goal next time out against Kilmarnock, but he was benched for Partick and Inverness Thistle.  Despite being third on the roster he’s likely to be the solitary striker role tomorrow evening.

This is a big game in Stefan’s Celtic career.  A European ground with an 8500 capacity presents a different pressure, and expectation, than Celtic Park.  Can he rise to the challenge?  Wakaso stepped forward in Salzburg and Callum McGregor did the same in Reykjavik, Warsaw and Maribor.  Both benefited enormously as a result.  I could make a case that Stefan needs this game; the script’s written……

Many thanks to everyone who bought the DVDs from CQNBookstore since yesterday, that’s’ the deal finished.  Will try to pull another together at some point.

Have a look and read at this , what a fantastic wee guy Jay is.

This writing below is from Jays Dad Martin.

” My Bhoy has done so well…an official invite to meet the First and Deputy First minister in recognition of his work in promoting Down Syndrome worldwide. We begged him not to mention his favourite football team during the visit and guess what, he did not even get through the first ministers Door without asking ‘What team do you support I support Celtic’. This resulted in some banter between the first and deputy first minister who knew all about his love for the Hoops and Jay who continued to speak non stop about Celtic to anyone who would listen including a bodyguard who was killing himself laughing. A really Proud day and as we were leaving they both said “Jay you have really brightened up our Day “. Martin Beatty

Hahahaha, and that’s your answer? Still a bottle merchant, and by the way, I was not asked to or had proxies from anyone to bring up the living wage, I chose not to, you on the other hand had, resolution 12 was a good thing, and I’ll repeat my self AGAIN, I was for it but not you in charge of it, get that right, it was on your watch, you made an arse of it, IF you EVER prove me wrong I will run off to Qatar and play Laurance of Arabia too, for ever.

I’d love the scoddish mind-set changed with regards to the deid team, not sure this will achieve that. I wouldn’t want to give anyone a grand who employs Spiersy either.

OK I will break a bit of silence on Res 12 but trust me there are about to be 2 statements on that topic — one from Celtic at or prior to the AGM and one from .. well … some of us who have been at meetings and in regular discussion over the course of the year.

ET to answer your question first.

Those of us who have taken Res 12 to where it is now have commissioned expert opinion on a couple of specific matters. At the moment those are completely confidential – not even Celtic have seen them as yet.

    Why?

Because they were not commissioned by Celtic or for Celtic or with the intention of their ultimate destination being Celtic.

As I posted the other day, the whole point of the resolution was to ensure that Celtic had raised various matters with the SFA especially about specific matters and items surrounding the grant of the 2011 UEFA licence and the procedures followed.

    They had.

But their information and knowledge was not as detailed as some others.

Please wait for the statement as hopefully it will tell you more.

We are dealing here with the absolute detail of the rules and how they have been implemented, perhaps should have been implemented and the information that was made available during that entire process.

Much of the information presented, gathered, worked on and considered over the last 12 months has been painstakingly researched considered and presented in a non emotional but hopefully professional manner which involves argument, counter argument and fitting various jigsaw pieces together and looking for the parts that are missing.

Dare I say the parts that were deliberately missing?

Throughout that process Celtic have played a part – a big part – to the extent that this will now move on.

How far it moves on, how it moves on, with whom it moves on I am not a liberty to say because we are dealing in the realms of professional confidentiality.

However, I repeat we ( note the WE ) have engaged the services of experts in their field and continue to do so.

Res 12 was not taken forward with a view to discussing its detail on a blog.

That will not please many and I am sorry about that and we can only report back what we feel comfortable with and to be honest at times it has been tempting to post something in response to what I can only describe as ill informed drivel from some posters on here.

There are message boards of other football clubs where Res 12 has been mentioned and some of those involved have been mentioned by name and in the same breath as comments which are a little alarming to say the least – I will go no further than that.

What none of us can guarantee is what the outcome of Res 12 will be, but what has happened is that it has been taken forward to such an extent that very detailed and pinpoint accurate items are under consideration and discussion.

No wide rambling sweeping statements but detailed dated documentation and assembled argument and information is what is under review and consideration.

It has soon to go to the next stage, hopefully before the AGM, but that depends on the diaries and work commitments of others.

Once that happens, then a whole new chapter begins.

With respect, it’s at least an answer to some of the questions on that I’ll back off and give you your ground to continue, but I would recommend you pull some off your foot soldiers necks in, or give them a wee run down on PR on the subject and how it should be handled, storm trooping doesent work, well not with me anyway.

What size of Camel would you like and is your preference to be seated upon it in the fashion of Peter O’Toole or Omar Sharif both of whom adopted different methods of staying on board a charging animal over which they had neither any knowledge or control.

Honestly — please stay out of the argument on Res 12 – not because I wish you to have no interest but because, by necessity, your level of detailed knowledge is neither current or reliable.

In saying that please accept that there is no malice in that statement at all.
