Pretty gutted for Inverness keeper Dean Brill, who will miss the Hampden Scottish Cup semi final with a dislocated knee. We saw enough from the Highlanders on Saturday to know they pose Serious Treble Risk, but you want to beat teams at full strength.
Anyone who tells you Celtic suffered a material loss due to Rangers liquidation is blowing out his bum. We lost some revenue but we’ve not been in such good shape, financially and on the field, in years.
I I could argue it was the best thing to happen to Celtic in the last 48 years but we’ll have the decades to come to ponder the full impact.
The Memorial Stone for CQNers no longer with us has now been fully funded with circa £500 left over for Mary’s Meals. A humbling effort, well done to all involved, especially TBJ.

You’re not bad yourself!
Raffle is now closed.
We’ve added ten tickets from CQN corner as some folk were saying they’d see TBJ at the game on Wednesday. Some last minute ticket sold has taken us over £800 – this includes the CQN Bookstore sales and the few from Paypal, with the CQN corner ones to go on top. Great effort by everyone.
Wee bits of paper are currently being cut up – give me five minutes…
WC
David, I’ve already arranged to meet TBJ on Wednesday to contribute, so please make sure at least one ticket is available. Cheers buddy. :-))

So as the tension mounts waiting for the raffle,
Are we all, or just myself, hoping Chico’s team drop three points to Ross County tonight, allowing them to extend their points lead over Motherwell?
I think Motherwell with some seasoned ex Celtic professionals will provide a better challenge to prevent the potential promotion of the Govan cheaters.
Just watching St Mirren v Ross County. Really should check if my paint is dry.
Does anyone know the name of the law that says any football game that doesn’t involve Celtic seems to last twice as long as one that does (unless we are getting beat)?
St Mirren 1 down at The Methodrome….

OOOPS
GOAL
St Mirren 0-1 Ross County (Boyce)
Posted at 20:16
The building pressure from the visitors pays off as Michael Gardyne has a shot blocked and it falls to Craig Curran, who draws a decent save from Mark Ridgers. The St Mirren defenders are slow to react to the loose ball and Liam Boyce hammers it in – third time lucky.
GG
There are a fair few ex Celt/Celtic supporters in the Ross County team.
Their manager is a fenian from the Rock too. :)
Stan and stefan – you used to be able to set up WordPress in that fashion. Regardless it’s a small JavaScript change to make it happen. It would improve the user experience IMO.

I believe that McManus, Pearson and the Ozzie striker will be too proud to lie down.

TBJ
Will bring some books for CQN Corner guys midweek…
Just trying to work out the post split fixtures, i may be a bit behind.
After we beat Killie on Wednesday night that will be both sixes confirmed as no team could catch Dundee in 6th. So i would assume the fixtures for the remaining games will be confirmed in the next week or so.
Post split we will have 3 away games and 2 homes games left. But we will have already played three of the teams away twice by then, Dundee, ICT & St Johnstone, but only have two home games left. So we will have to go to one of those venues again for a third away game.
I would envisage fixtures as follows,
Dundee Utd – away
Aberdeen – away
Dundee – home or away ?
ICT – home or away ?
St Johnstone – home to away?
Simple eh? Any other thoughts?
WC
So that’s it, am no getting a ticket then. :-(((( booooooo

It’s cool, I bet the Paisley mob with both scoring so Ross County goal was needed, if they get a 2nd I am French Connection UK’d
TBJ
Yer on, big stuff. Lol. See you around 7.00-15 pm, the usual time for our bus to get in. Looking forward to it. :-))))

Hope Ross County survive. Their owner usually speaks very respectfully about Celtic. I would love for Motherwell to go down.
weefrathetim-i like Rodgers and the way he tries to play football, ref is a nightmare though….
I meant Van Persie not Fabregas for a loan deal next year
Would like to see Killie go down.No friends of Celtic.
!!Bada Bing!!
Almost as bad as a team with 500m fans not having an orange ball for snow
Thetimreaper.
TCC posted last night that effectively Dundee have taken Motherwell’s place in the top 6. So if logic is followed we would face a third league visit to Dens as well as still having to visit Tannadice and Pittodrie for a second time. With St J and Inverness games being at home. HOWEVER!!!! Once paranoia crept in it was decided a third visit to Inverness would be more likely.
!!bada bing!!
Haven’t really paid too much attention, just watching while posting. Will pay a bit more after your observation. :-))))
