SEVCO RANGERS ROOKIE HAPPY FOR BROONY TO PLAY

PEDRO Caixinha has revealed he is HAPPY Scott Brown will be allowed to lead Celtic against Sevco Rangers in the Scottish Cup semi-final at Hampden on Sunday.
The Hoops skipper was red-carded after a challenge on Liam Boyde during the turbulent last minutes of the 2-2 draw against Ross County in Dingwall on Sunday.
However, the 31-year-old midfielder is free to play against Caixinha’s team with the club’s appeal against ropey ref Don Robertson’s decision due to be heard on Thursday. Ropey? Well it was an HONEST mistake wasn’t it?
And there will be plenty of Celtic supporters wary of referee Willie Collum on Sunday as Celtic go all out to reach the Scottish Cup Final which will put them 90 minutes away from the Treble.
Despite the possibility of an Honest Mistake, there will be plenty still confident enough to back the Hoops seeing off Sevco Rangers on Sunday lunchtime.
Admitting his club would have exploited the system in the same way, the rookie Ibrox boss welcomed the chance to test his side against Celtic’s strongest line-up.The Portuguese coach admitted: “We are glad that Scott Brown can play in this match.
“It is going to be a very interesting match and we want our opponents’ squad to be full. To have the older players.”
Asked if his opponents would be weaker and easier to beat without their influential onfield leader, Caixinha replied: “I don’t know. I’m not talking about possibilities, I’m talking about reality.”The reality is Brown is going to play. And that means they are going with their best players and best squad.”I am glad to face them under those conditions to test ourselves.”
