Do you like our new lightweight template? There’s a lot less green and tons more whyte. Like it or not, the whyte template will be here for a wee while, so try to enjoy it.
Ticket arrangements for our game at Ibrox next month were always going to be tasty. With rumour that Rangers were heading for administration, Celtic refused to forward their rivals tickets for the game on 28 December on credit, demanding payment in advance. Rangers found the money after a failed appeal to the better nature of the Celtic board. This proved to be a wise move as only a few weeks later Rangers were in administration leaving a trail of unpaid debts to other clubs in their wake, but an awkward situation was likely to follow with Rangers (in administration) looking to reciprocate with payment terms.
Celtic are good for the credit, but if they pay for tickets, what’s the chance Rangers will survive long enough to fulfil the fixture?
None of us are in a position to tell, but Celtic cannot sell tickets to their own supporters in the chance that Rangers will not honour them. If Rangers are still in business, I expect a busy few days leading up to the fixture as cash and tickets are transferred.
And to think we’ve listened to all the ‘Old Firm conspiracy’ theories all these years….. didn’t turn out that way after all.
Really pleased to see STV picked up on our story of last week on the potential improper registration of players and managed to get an anonymous quote from the SFA suggesting “that if conclusive evidence can be produced, the Scottish FA could launch a wider investigation into the conduct of the club”.
“Could”! This story has now been reported by several mainstream media outlets. It looks like the SFA will have to be dragged into examining this by Uefa. Embarrassingly, they are likely to conclude an inquiry into Rangers next week without reference to the 10,000lb gorilla (as No Surrender Johnston would say) in the room.
There are now serious questions of corporate governance at the association, something the chief exec was keen to avoid. If the SFA do initiate an inquiry into the multiple contract allegation, they should start by asking some of the guys who have arrived at Ibrox from continental Europe. I hear Joachim Bjorklund, a decent defender who signed his only Rangers contract in 1996, is still working in the game.

Glad the format’s changed as I got fed up everytime I refreshed the page I had to scroll the text back into focus from the left hand side so its much easier for android/htc.
Aye,with all the potential jelly n ice cream events I’m daring to dream that were going to have to come up with a new ‘Hampden In The Sun’ tune which has lyrics that rhyme with their midden.
In half slumber this mornin’,stoatin’ to the shower with slevers still escaping my only thought was- ‘it could be eight or nine’ and I know I wasn’t thinking about the time.
Bring on the next historical humiliation.

Great new look. Reminds me of the goode olde days of yore…
I’m having the same problems as everyone else, but have been using the url workaround.
Now I can see a link to the last page on the 1st. However, upon loading the last page I only have the buttons: 1… 14 15 16 1.
I can continue using the workaround so no harm done, but any & all help would be greatly appreciated.
Hail Hail.

You serious? Is he managing a team now?? Urghhh, particularly odious character from the tainted 90s. Hope his Perth dominoes team lose due to their inability to count, a particular hun trait that seems to lead to gradual self-destruction.
Good to be back at a clean.,lean design Paul67 , now if you could just add a ‘like’ and a ‘dislike’ button for comments and also a voting system for polls, then you can take a wee break .

I was laid off from work yesterday by text. I was also referred to as ” Ya Hun” by yourself. I don’t know which comment hurt me the most, but probably yours. HH
………………………………………………………………
If I can put in a plea in mitigation for Row Z, I think he was kidding. Most new posters on here in recent months have jokingly been greeted as ‘Huns’ because the blog went through a spell when we did have a number of RFC fans coming on and purporting to be Tims. As each one of them was exposed as being a’Hun’, genuine Celtic supporters who were posting for the first time stated that they were afraid of being accused of being a ‘Hun’. It has become a bit of an in joke. Row Z might have been better putting a smiley after his comment for the avoidance of doubt.
On the other matter, I’m very sorry to hear about you being laid off by text. That’s no way to treat an employee. Heartless. Hope you get back to work soon.

I would “like” that response :))
Canamalar,
You would. You like counting “likes” now, don’t you. Now you know that counting is a major weakness for certain peepil! Stupid huns ! > :)) :)))))
Er, why is my comment that “I don’t don’t need no approval of my comments, thank you very much.” getting so much approval.
It was actually a blatant lie.
I need approval like the next man.

Am welcoming a certain aul pal from your kneck of the woods back to Weedgieland on Thursday – the same fella we went down to see and spent the weekend making eejits of ourselves with at the beautiful Irish Centre you have there !!!!
To welcome…should I give him a stainless steel spoon, or just buy him a pint? (He’s quite stingy). Advice on the ole Yorkshire ettic utt on these matters would be appreciated….. :D
Yee hah! CQN on Opera on Blackberry sorted. All comments pages now accessible. You’re a star Paul and you too Andrew in Belfast.
Paul, you get better value for money on CQN. Lately we’ve had the chance to get 3 or 4 podiums per day as opposed to 1 podium every 3 days on RTC :-)
Thomas Rogne to replace Norway captain in first cap game. No pressure then? Just don’t get injured!

Love the new site Paul67
Bhoys I have a ridiculous and unrealistic favour to ask but “if you don’t ask, you don’t get” I am looking for a ticket for Ibrox. I can get one from a buses usually but nobody can help this time for obvious reasons. I have managed a few away days this year but with the bambino it is increasingly difficult. My birthday is 26th March so would be a lovely way to celebrate. CQN is not a begging charity case but if anyone is well connected please let me know, as I say, I know its unrealistic but Cheers anyway HH

That WILL require a bead counter. They won’t like that.
“OK, stupid hun ex-employees, can we do a quick beed,,,,sorry heid….count.”
Cue much garbled noise and violence.
These times are precious.
Thank God it happened in the digital age !! :)))
Jim Traynor exclusive….”It was cos the Abacus broke down….”
Would be great to see that horrible weasely little creep Naismith as one for the admin chop!
The huns see the dirty wee sneak as one of their own- almost an embodiment of the hun ethos. He has little true skill but an abundance of that determined never say die nae surrender spirit the orc hordes so admire.
I think if he does get the heave ho then they will go into mass meltdown. Eventually the reality of the situation will hit home. Hard. The harder the better.
Maybe it is all part of gods great plan. Repeated intensive humiliation for der hun- eventually leading to them learning a little something about a wonderful virtue we call HUMILITY.
Stranger things have happened- or have they?
A humble hun would be akin to a repentant banker…

First things first. You must offer commiserations for the recent loss of Sir Jimmy Savile, a true Yorkshire legend.
Normally I would think that there would be a “stingy standoff” with people from both Scotland and Yorkshire given their reputations. However, after seeing the fantastic efforts for the Vanessa appeal recently and recognising the fact that the majority of donors must be from Scotland, that myth has been smashed. You must therefore buy him a pint of bitter (don’t call it heavy) and understand that Tykes are now officially the World’s tightest people.
Looks like the iPhone page numbering sorted. Another pat on the back for Andrew in Belfast.

Apologies. I didn’t know about the ‘hun’ thing. You live and learn.

Are the profits from the mega store linked to the JJB deal?
Do rangers and JJB both get a cut or does one get all?
Also the website as well?
cheers
This dear folks is just some of the piash being slabbered over on hunneth forums, if this is the topic being discussed I gather from this that they are trying to follow follow the pattern already set.
This pattern being to sign contract to make quick buck or gain advantage and try to renege on deal!
Last orders please! HH

Could it be that it is a JJB store branded as the Rangers store?
Do the staff get paid by Rangers or JJB?
Who pays the rent?
Who stocks the shelves and balances the tills?
The questions are magic, the debate enthralling!
Who stocks the shelves?
It’s wee billy that does the low shelves and king size billy does the top shelves!

You will never hear me laughing and gloating about job losses, i feel for anyone who loses their job after all i operate in a environment were its day to day, week to week.
Always looking for work is not something i would wish for anybody!
My only hope is when the cull happens it falls on the mighty, the wealthy, the rich,
highly unlikely as they cannot save or be responsible for £1million losses or savings.
