Do you like our new lightweight template? There’s a lot less green and tons more whyte. Like it or not, the whyte template will be here for a wee while, so try to enjoy it.
Ticket arrangements for our game at Ibrox next month were always going to be tasty. With rumour that Rangers were heading for administration, Celtic refused to forward their rivals tickets for the game on 28 December on credit, demanding payment in advance. Rangers found the money after a failed appeal to the better nature of the Celtic board. This proved to be a wise move as only a few weeks later Rangers were in administration leaving a trail of unpaid debts to other clubs in their wake, but an awkward situation was likely to follow with Rangers (in administration) looking to reciprocate with payment terms.
Celtic are good for the credit, but if they pay for tickets, what’s the chance Rangers will survive long enough to fulfil the fixture?
None of us are in a position to tell, but Celtic cannot sell tickets to their own supporters in the chance that Rangers will not honour them. If Rangers are still in business, I expect a busy few days leading up to the fixture as cash and tickets are transferred.
And to think we’ve listened to all the ‘Old Firm conspiracy’ theories all these years….. didn’t turn out that way after all.
Really pleased to see STV picked up on our story of last week on the potential improper registration of players and managed to get an anonymous quote from the SFA suggesting “that if conclusive evidence can be produced, the Scottish FA could launch a wider investigation into the conduct of the club”.
“Could”! This story has now been reported by several mainstream media outlets. It looks like the SFA will have to be dragged into examining this by Uefa. Embarrassingly, they are likely to conclude an inquiry into Rangers next week without reference to the 10,000lb gorilla (as No Surrender Johnston would say) in the room.
There are now serious questions of corporate governance at the association, something the chief exec was keen to avoid. If the SFA do initiate an inquiry into the multiple contract allegation, they should start by asking some of the guys who have arrived at Ibrox from continental Europe. I hear Joachim Bjorklund, a decent defender who signed his only Rangers contract in 1996, is still working in the game.

Of course not playing our players is a good thing, but ffs, a coach of the national team that thinks Bardsley is better than Charlie !!!
Bardsley is brutal, they are all brainwashed into thinking the EPL is the best league in the world, it’s no even the best league in England.

I passed Murray Park at 3.30pm earlier today and there was a fair crowd of media people and more cars than usual parked outside. They must have been expecting something. If nothing happened then I would say that the media know as much or as little as we do.
A question to ask your (hun)friendly blue nose colleague tomorrow at the coffee machine:
“Sorry if I’m having trouble keeping up, old chap, but what happen’d to the Arse money?”
murray still managing to keep himself out of the firing line. gordon smith given the freedom of the press to let everyone know that, although he was handsomely rewarded by both the brotherhood and ranjurz, he had no idea what was going on!

A fantastic effort by all involved. Especially yourself for the energy and time you put into publicizing the cause. Hopefully the big man upstairs appreciates the love, effort and prayers that have gone the wee girl’s direction and plays his part now.

I wouldn’t worry about evidence not being there, if they are found guilty at the FTT, the evidence is there, stonewall evidence.

Hun logic- they gave a lot to the charity in the past, so, errr, we will just keep the charity money for ourselves nooo.

To use the words of a prophet and a Wiseman:
‘There are people who, shall we say, are not upstanding. In the football business, there is a dishonesty and a lack of integrity.
Somehow I’m a person who never states anything. I growl, I roar, or I fume. I’m portrayed as someone who wants to pick fights and that’s unfair, but if I’ve got a beef that Celtic are being unfairly disadvantaged then I’m going to say.’

I would love for Rangers to lose 9IAR but, going by what was said on STV web page, the rules that everyone is quoting came into being in 2005. It may well be that the requirements regarding players’ contracts have not changed since the maximum wage days so I’ll not give up hope.
That guy on Clyde an alleged Celtic fan
EBT’s didn’t cost Celtic in 2003 and 2005.
How do you work that our you moron?
No EBTs meant certain players not there which means results would not have been achieved.
It really is that simple.
Lads any of you had a reply from UEFA regarding Government interference?
