SHAMED CELT BOLI MOVES

SHAMED Celt Boli Bolingoli has completed a loan move to Turkish champions Istanbul Başakşehir.

The club have the option to buy the Belgian left-back who cost the Hoops £3million when they signed him from Vienna Rapid last summer.

Neil Lennon admitted the defender’s representatives had been told to get him another team after the player’s inexplicable secret trip to high-risk Spain and subsequent ignoring of the government’s quarantine rules when he returned.

Bolingoli played what turned out to be his final game for the nine-in-a-row champions when he came on as a late substitute in the 1-1 draw with Kilmarnock at Rugby Park on August 9.

That resulted in a three match ban from the SFA while the SPFL are investigating the club over the incident and two Hoops games against St Mirren and Aberdeen were cancelled due to the player’s incredible blunder.

Now the 25-year-old full-back will get the opportunity to revive his career in Turkey, according to a report in the Daily Record.

Bolingoli still has three years to run on his Parkhead contract, but it is highly unlikely he will ever do the hoops again.
