Show no compromise

210

If Celtic sacked our manager and appointed an ex-Shetland Islands select coach a week before a Champions League qualifier, I would be very concerned.

If we take care of Rosenborg tonight, their preparations will be looked at, but there is another narrative. Fail to deliver tonight, and you will hear about Rosenborg players rallying together in the face of adversity.

I expect Celtic to win well, but that will depend on the players showing no compromise.

Has anyone else noticed that CQN crashes more frequently when Celtic is struggling?

I suspect one of the happyclappers of sabotaging the blog, so they don’t have to read the negative comments.

    Round up the usual suspects!

No changes to start the second half.

For those not watching, Celtic looked much better for the last 15 minutes, after McG and Forrest switched places, with JF wide on the right.

    Ntcham! Lovely finish! 2-1

Lovely first touch by Ntcham to freeze two defenders and give himself a yard. He then bent a beautiful right footer around the defender and into the top corner. Pure class. Good effort by the keeper, but he was never getting to that

McGregor overhits a bending cross, which fools everyone, and hits the bar. Could have been 3

OE. Class. The ball sticks to him.

Brilliant strike by ON, which the keeper touches onto the bar! Unlucky

    3-1

GreT finish by oE! Chips the keeper after a nice play by JF to set him up

  8. Extract from tonight’s CQN match report

Meling was next to go into the referee’s book after a clumsily challenge on Forrest as the winger prepared to fart past him on the flank.

I’m surprised James didn’t get a card for blowing the defender aside like this.
