Shuffling for spare seats in Lisbon Lions, Mikael’s woes

398

I’m loving the positivity which surrounds season ticket sales at the moment. You can imagine staff at the Ticket Office bouncing into work these days to deal with another new scenario. Today’s news is that a deadline of this Friday has been made for existing season ticket holders to relocate to the newly opened Upper Lisbon Lions section, before the remaining seasons are made available.

There’s now a high probability that Celtic and Hearts will both have waiting lists for season tickets, with Aberdeen not far behind. Even Hibs are felling their own Irish manager effect, as they target 10,000 ticket sales.

Pretty gutted Mikael Lustig retired at half time in Sweden’s game against Ireland yesterday because of a groin injury. Injury has been the story of Mikael’s life over the last couple of years, which will cast a shadow over the rest of his career. Sweden can continue to select him, when fit, but Celtic will need to cater for the reality that he may miss a lot of football going forward.

It’s also unlikely that he’ll attract a transfer (or sail through a medical). With the right levels of rest and preparatory work, he should be able to compete at the top level for another three years at least, but for much of that time Mikael is destined to be a bit part player.

    Jude ,

The blog has been crashing my browser and I read others saying this so it might not be your laptop.

    However my advice,

Click on windows icon bottom left and type into search bar msconfig, click startup then unclick everything except anti virus.

Restart laptop. Click on folder icon, there should be a drive called C , if not click my computer and it should come up. Right click C and select properties. A window should pop up and select disk clean up. Delete all it shows you.

If you have lots of music or pics on your laptop consider moving them to a flash drive.

Also try and set windows updates to let me choose when not download automatically.

    Hope this helps partner.

    Hail H

Mahe – Mahe fires the ball in, for Sutton to knock it in the back of the net and send 60 000 Celtic fans home happy. 6-2

  5. Although his scoring record is phenomenal, and he is undoubtedly a great player, if he’s not scoring, Ronaldo doesn’t seem to do much else, especially in comparison to Messi, who, apart from his own massive goal contribution, is always trying to bring other players into the game, taking on opponents with his dribbling, or spraying all types of passes around the pitch when he plays deeper.

Always been clear to me who has been the world’s best player in this era, given the wider range of skills he possesses.

He hated the Scottish racism against Poles post war. He suffered and changed his name to a Scottish surname. I wish he kept our name of Karpowicz.

I met Stephane Mahé, along with Lubo Moravčíc, when I was on a lunch break in a bar up north.

As I walked past Mahé, I did a double take, and thought “I know that guy, but from where”?

Just after I had walked past him the penny dropped, and I about turned and caught up with them. It was a Tuesday before a weekend game against the dead team. Lubo and Mahé conversed in French. I shook hands.and had a brief chat, and wished them well for the upcoming game. Lubo answered in a surprisingly high pitched voice, “Thank-you”

When I got home from work, I was asking family “Do you want to shake the hand, that shook the hand of Lubomir Moravčíc”. Same stunt in the pub later that night.

We lost to the dead team at the weekend. Just to ruin the story. :(

Nowt sad about it. I didnt like them much in my teenager years, they were a bit too heavy or their hype was too strong.

Get them now tho!! Great band
