He had a crucial role in scoring the opener in the win over Newco at Celtic Park in December, then at Ibrox in setting up Adam Idah for Celtic’s third goal.

It brings us back to the basic premise of the article:
“Sign players of the right profile for the right sum on the right contracts”
We could, possibly, have brought in Bernardo and Idah for the same fitness work as they got at their present clubs but with a bit more coaching from a coach they already have plenty of experience working with.
But we chose not to pay extra millions to the selling clubs, and to the players because we didnt think the time we would have saved added up to the extra in transfer fees, and, importantly in salary.
As Paul67 says this isnt just those two, and it isnt just this summer. It wouldn’t be just this Summer, it will be next Summer and beyond. It all adds up to a lot.

i am sure that MSM will find a Rangers player to take on the baiting of Celtic. Dont know who it will be as like others I dont know many of their players for this season. Very few Scots remain in the squad list.
