CELTIC centre-back Jozo Simunovic is in Italy to undergo a medical ahead of a possible move to Torino.
The Croatian Under-21 defender made only 17 appearances for the Hoops since his move from Dinamo Zagreb last summer.
A knee injury disrupted his progress at Parkhead and it looks as though Brendan Rodgers has decided to allow him to move on.
Simunovic has travelled to complete his transfer to the Turin-based outfit, who have been long-term admirers of the player.
The 22-year-old was signed by Ronny Deila after impressing for Zagreb against the Bhoys in December 2014.
If there are no problems, the deal – worth around £3.75million – could be sealed this evening.
In addition to Simunovic, the Serie A side are on the verge of completing a move for England goalkeeper Joe Hart, who will quit Celtic’s Champions League rivals Manchester City.
