I know you have heard a lot about Scott Sinclair’s form not matching his Player of the Year level of last season, but with 8 goals in the league (joint top) and 15 overall (top in Scottish football), you would be hard pushed to suggest this is anything other than a right good season for the winger.
What you have heard less about is the reaction from the player to his slower start to the season. He stayed behind on a programme of work to improve his game; doing exercises designed to improve fleet-of-foot, and perhaps confidence.
Celtic players are not machines (they just look like that when they are winning). Performances are a consequence of hundreds of preparatory hours, sacrifice and denial. Even those will little to prove, like Scott, feel like they have everything to prove as they train for the next game. When they are struggling for the form they want, it is at the forefront of their minds when they wake in the morning, no matter how good results are.
The big moment in Scott’s season came three minutes from the end of what, for him, was a very hostile game at Fir Park, when he told Leigh Griffiths he would be hitting the penalty. Miss, the unbeaten record stops and you put yourself in the hole. Score, and you are the Pope of Fir Park. Others would have stepped aside.
No one has worked harder to get to the top of the scoring charts. He’s going to be a big player for the remainder of this month.

Can understand the Concession STs with Photo ID to a certain degree, but surely the
more at CP supporting the team the better.
Told that Murty is the only manager in Scotland to have won 4 league games in a row this season, that certainly brought 69 games unbeaten into perspective.

I noticed that in the clip posted on Twitter last night, of the Celtic players entering the building, that neither Tierney, Mc.Gregor and one other young player I didn’t recognise, walked around the tiled club crest on the floor.
Everyone else walked straight on over it.
Shows the level of respect these lads have for the club.

If we make it through this month and pick up full points, are we looking at a potential Championship winning team?
We’re winning ugly, we’re starting to to win games we would 100% lose earlier or last season.
The taigs will lose a game and then lose a few more.
If we can keep winning ugly and winning convincingly against the “smaller” teams, I know we haven’t done that yet, but I don’t see any reason why this team can’t.
If we back this team with everything we have from the stands, then we will easily beat the banana skins.
So…..thoughts?

I’m telling you btw we’ll go unbeaten this month. I said it before the Aberdeen game.
We’ll be 3 points maximum behind them come January 1st.
Some of the replies are hilarious but way too sweaty to paste on here!

Does that mean we can only watch Celtic as Pixar animations?
Come to think of it most of the fitba Sky shows is Mickey Mouse stuff anyway. (Excluding Celtic, of course).

Trojan crooks.
Now two American entertainment companies own the rights to EPL.
Can we now expect an EPL ride at their competing theme parks in Florida.
It could be a rollercoaster ride with people being blown off at the slightest breeze to roll around on green astroturf.
So the latest manufactured outrage about Celtic is that they are reminding season ticket holders of the terms and conditions under which they were bought.
Celtic have not demanded photo ID to gain access to the stadium. The have said that if you need to use other ticket related services then you need ID.
How about this scenario. I go to ticket office and say I have forgotten season card, I give all the details on the card and am issued with a paper ticket. Just before kick off my mate walks up with season card and swipes in. With no ID check two in but only one paid.
Everyone knows sharing of season cards goes on, but it is plainly stated that they are non transferable. What’s all the rage about? You use someone else’s ticket you accept the risk.
Speaking of dopey Hun posts, this takes some beating.
Is it too early.

LOL,I am none the wiser, but no problem,I am having a bad day today.
Thanks for the reply.

There is no rage regarding Season Tickets only a realisation that if Celtic enforce this ruling then buying a ST will not be economically viable for many.
HH.
So Celtic will sell me multiple season tickets, all in my name, but then I can only use one of them because they cannot be given to anyone else?
I’m tending to agree with those that say this is a box ticking exercise to appease some authority or other.
However, in terms of waste of money, I’m regularly contacted by email and text message as a season ticket holder. Why send me a letter this time?

I could probably get away with using Jamesgang’s ticket as we look very alike.

At one stage in the second half last night, Celtic threatened the Hamilton goal. Hamilton won the ball in a tackle and passed the ball out beautifully. Nothing came of it but I have seen such composed passing out of danger by quite a few teams at Celtic Park this season.
I must, of course, be imagining these events because we all know that, since Celtic started dominating the game here, Scottish football has been dreadful.
JJ
PS
Now, though, Four in a Row for Ol` Sevco might just change that perception.

I don`t know what Gene looks like but your tickets are very similar. Spooky.

One final point as I have things to do.
I thought Scott Sinclair was overrated last year and is underrated this year.
I also think he has offered a lot in both years.
Cheerio for now

Being someone who can’t attend many matches and also being close to a supporters bus where not all can go every fortnight never mind the next 2 midweek games maybe you could apply some comman ground to your argument rather than trying to make it out to be an anti board argument
mon the Pope of Fir Park
in fact mon the Pope of the Vatican too
hot smoked – totally agree about the passing thing – it’s like since clubs have stopped aiming for floating casinos and looked at what calmac and sa can do that they’ve had a go themselves at playing fitba
BT
I have passed my ticket on to others and have no problem with anyone else who does the same. I was pointing out that the terms and conditions are unchanged. The ticket was non transferable before this letter was issued and nothing has changed.
Some of the previous posts were complaining about needing ID to gain access to the stadium, even complaining about the club passing details on to the police. Which is not what the letter stated at all.
I don’t see this as an issue at all. I have no idea what caused the club to issue this letter. Maybe the replacement paper ticket service has been abused or someone has been acting the maggot in a season ticket holders seat and the club have had complaints, who knows.
What if you are a supporter who has never driven nor has a passport. Will a bus pass do for photo I’d?

re;Season Tickets,Last night a young girl from St.Ninians Cardenden made the Paradise Windfall Draw, many of us contribute to the Kano Foundation which provides ST,s and allows school kids to attend matches,7,000 kids to date as announced by the club, not all are named ST holders I presume? but all could be future supporters.
methinks some jobsworth has overreacted to some minor incident.

Celtic season tickets have always been ‘non transferable’ doesn’t mean the club don’t turn a blind eye to supporters that lend their ticket out.
The letter that’s gone out will be to do with PC Plod.

The generosity of supporters on here who cannot go to the game, offering their tickets to posters on here, sometimes for free, happens often and is amazing.
Phil boy, it happened to me for the Anderlecht game last Tuesday.
VFR800 is now a monster 821 gave me his season book. He’d never met me before but was kind enough to trust me with it. And asked for no money.
The occasion was brilliant; in the standing section, loud, energetic, engaging!
All Celtic all the time!
Perhaps the game itself could have worked out better but the atmosphere was superb!
Thanks VFR, your generosity is not lost on the world!
