BRENDAN RODGERS has heaped praise on the outstanding Scott Sinclair who has now netted 18 goals across all competitions for Celtic since arriving in the summer.
The 27-year-old Englishman, who cost £4.5million from Aston Villa, netted the second and made the third as the Hoops overcame St Mirren 4-1 to set up Scottish Cup semi-final date against Sevco Rangers.
Rodgers enthused: “Scotty is a remarkable player. You should enjoy watching him, he’s a breath of fresh air for Scottish football.
“He is a winger with speed, who wants to score and create goals. His pace is frightening.
“When I took him to Swansea, I had the same feeling as I did in the summer. I needed a winger to take the team up the pitch and he was fantastic for me.
“He has that top level speed and ability to go and break lines. If you are dominant and teams sit in, you need to go through them.
“Scotty can do that with and without the ball.
“He will get 20 goals. There is no doubt about that.
