A place at the top of the league is the prize no offer for Celtic tonight, as well as the chance to atone for a couple of ropey performances earlier in the season. The penalty-aided draw at Celtic Park against Motherwell was perhaps our worst display of the season, while a late collapse at Fir Park against 10 men uncovered serious vulnerabilities.
The Fir Park game is most memorable as the day John Guidetti lost his mojo. He could have had a hat-trick that afternoon but misfired and hasn’t recovered. He’s no longer an automatic starting choice, but if he gets on, he’ll have the perfect opportunity to bury his demons.
Do you think that despite his emotional state, Charles Green knew he Sky Sports’ Jim White would allow him to answer questions about money by talking about his wages, not the onerous contracts which are proving to be a convenient earn-out for those who were in at the start?
As an interview, it was compelling, but Sky missed the target.
Get in early for the minute’s applause in memory of our friend Kano. It will be a chance to reflect on his inimitable style.
CQN11 St Patrick’s Day Dinner Dance is on Friday 13 March, at the Kerrydale Suite, Celtic Park. The focus of an excellent night’s entertainment will be funding the construction of a kitchen at Chibwata Primary School in Malawi, for Mary’s Meals.

I take it we’ll be increasing the number of tickets for the travelling Dons choralists?

Looking through the current 30 man squad below
A bit of conjecture, i know but…
If the 4 loanees are heading back to their clubs and Kris and VVD are for the off this month or the summer.
Kayal, Boerrigter and Rogic no longer quoted
If Jamsie and Mikael continue running down the scottish NHS budget,
Then when you look at what is possibly left, you can see that there will need to be some serious building work carried out before next years CL qualifiers.
I really hope our scouting system is up to the task

just received thanks
I’ll drop an email shortly with a wee update. enjoy the game.
Mon the Hoops!
Need a bit of Health and Safety advice ghuys, A few of us are coming over to Hampden from Ireland, for the Sevco game on 1st Feb. and was wondering whats the safest to get there without meeting bloodthirsty zombies intent in doing damage to Celtic festooned supporters. I travel frequently to Parkhead and know the areas to avoid but Hampden would be unknown territory. I recall getting a taxi to Ibrox about 10 years ago, and the taxi driver who was obviously a Hun attempted to drop us off in an area full of Huns……only for an eagle-eyed young policewoman we would have been slaughtered.
Any advice would be most welcome.

Thought your suggestion the other day about going to the Accies game on Saturday was a great idea.

See yoyu all at CQN corner :)
Was over in Belfast last month . Stayed in the holiday inn . Very good hotel . Also central . Had the pleasure of meeting cqn gearoid1998 , who looked after me and introduced me to felons for the Belgrade match . If any of the belfast bound Bhoys need any assistance while over , gearoid 1998 will I’m sure be more than happy to help out .
Eddie
See you soon! :)
