  1. Action should have been taken after the Sparta Prague game at Celtic Park. Lawwell will be both negligent and incompetent if he accepts the 8-2 aggregate drubbing.

We look to have learned little or nothing after the first game. The same defensive failings are evident week in, week out irrespective of the personnel on the park. Our defensive organisation whether it’s 3 or 4 at the back is lacking throughout the back line and midfield. I’m sorry but the problem is the management team – time to say thank you for all your efforts but goodbye.

  2. Sorry Turkeybhoy

I only named Ralston because we have tried Frimpong and Elhammed

and neither have covered themselves in glory – no brainache intended

maybe just a bit desperate thinking

    Supersutton @7:55pm

The reasonable nature of your post sticks out a mile amongst the angry outbursts.

Our defence really is poor though, isn`t it?

    Good (not really)night all.

    Appreciate the comment.

Our defence IS poor. Collectively and individually.

Maybe we need to go for the old, “we can’t defend so let’s just score more goals than the opposition “.

That means putting goal scorers on the pitch. Two up front.

  4. JAMES FORREST on 26TH NOVEMBER 2020 8:08 PM

Agree with what you wrote there and to be fair, I quite often do.

However, the tone of Paul67’s post this week was along the lines of “we might get beat in Prague but that won’t cost Lennon his job”.

I fear he’ll be here for Ross County, putting out the same players with the same level of performance….meanwhile our more impoverished neighbours are running riot against Benfica. Sad times..

  5. 20 goals conceeded in our last 9 games.

    That’s just awful.

Please let Neil go with respect.

Give him his years salary and thank him for everything, but change must happen, now.

It’s not often I would agree with Stephen Craigen but he got it right saying ‘Celtic used to find a way to win , now they seem to find a way to lose .

    Enough is enough .

I would rather hear that than hear John Hartson say ‘the players will go in and regroup’

Regroup!? they’ve never feckin grouped in the first place!

Rolling contracts stop rolling if you resign. You don’t walk away with a year’s wages.

  8. If Strachan goes who is gonna work the new iPad thingy?

If Kennedy goes who is gonna make sure the defence doesn’t ship easy goals….no wait.

    D :)

  9. What if Lenny does not resign?

What if the board don’t sack him?

We just carry on as now?

  10. We have been delusional in thinking that we have a good squad of players.

For 2 seasons we have needed 2 fullbacks ,a keeper ,a powerful midfielder ,a big strong centre forward.

    We have wasted millions.

Fraser Forster was the only player brought to the club in those positions that was excellent at his job.

The solution starts with Dermot Desmond .

He has to put this right.

  11. TIMBHOY2 on 26TH NOVEMBER 2020 8:10 PM

These performances can’t go on like this, some big decisions are needed before it’ gets worse,as always we seem to get on top then these stray passes seem to cause all sorts of problems, and it happened again tonight,The Goalie isn’t up to it ,Ryan taking corners is only fault ,I see according to some he is the Scapegoat tonight,

Sadly, Ryan couldn’t cross the street. If 30% of his fks/corners are overhit….why do we not have at LEAST one player on the far post. It is NOT rocket science. The rest of his attempts don`t clear the first defender.

Who allows him to continue in this role?

  12. DAVID17 on 26TH NOVEMBER 2020 8:12 PM

‘Kennedy and Strachan need to go as well.’

And the people who have brought the situation to pass remain in post to carry on where they left off.

So the CEO’s barrel isn’t heading towards Niagara falls for financial reasons?

  14. lets all do the huddle on

when folk have nightmares they are often about getting chased by big scarey monsters 🏃👹🙆🏻‍♂️

my nightmares involve seeing ryan christie over a dead ball with his arm up in the air 🙋🏼‍♂️⚽️

what the fek is the point in it

  15. lets all do the huddle on

    Christie wants away.

    Why do we play him?

i still think he gives plenty of effort in the games despite wanting away

not sure you can say that about a few of the others

  16. For those that think we have better players than the Huns .Geeze peace.

We have lost 20 goals in the last 9 matches.

The Huns are on a 22 game unbeaten run .

Domestically they haven’t lost a goal in the league at home ,and have only conceded 2 away.

We didn’t even have a shot on target in the last derby .

They were worthy winners last December ,and robbed in the LCF.

We need a clear out from top to bottom .

Of both the management and scouting team and the players.

Dermot Desmond needs to take control.

4 different managerial appointments to win 9 titles.

Peter Lawell is the cause of that .

  17. I genuinely believe that we still have plenty of good players. Tragically, what we DON’T currently have, is someone capable of instilling belief in a formation that actually makes the most of their individual talents.

On the plus side, things can be turned around quite quickly, but it is requires the removal of the problem and its replacement with the solution. Sure, that might cost a fair amount, but failure to do so will cost a lot more in the long run. I for one don’t want this “death by a thousand cockups” dragging on any longer. Over to DD. Make the changes you must know need making. For all of our sakes.

  18. Turkey boy Who would you like to see as the next Celtic Manager,as for Ernie Lynch what a stupid statement to make ,Lennon is a multi millionaire and you can be sure Lennon will walk away with another few Million Pounds

  19. NFL would be best advised to pack it in right away. Much better for him

before it becomes too painful. He is a legend and should always be regarded as such.

  20. jimbob71 & little Miss jimbob on

Hey young Soro, you’ve no chance of getting a game soon, even although we should have been blooding you into the team so away and take some time off, get married if you like, have a nice long honeymoon..

Insert any number of young player’s names bought over the last few years.

  21. Bhoy From The Boyne on

Gutted for NL tonight. He is one of us and will be hurting badly. Just hasn’t worked out second time around.

  22. Gut wrenching, been a good run the past 2 decades. Corporate manslaughter right under our noses. 4th treble will be the highlight this season me thinks

  23. From a record breaking outfit to a shambles.Time for officialdom at Celtic Park started to deliver an enquiry into what is going on within the playing, coaching and managerial staff.Fans will not be rushing to buy season

tickets in very large numbers as of previous seasons.Fix it!You know what needs sorted.

    Celtic still.Roll on Sunday!,
