SPFL ‘computer’ giving excuses to fail to those who need them

383

I love it when opponents get their excuses for failure in before a ball is kicked.  Reaction to yesterday’s Premiership fixture announcement, which sees Newco visit Celtic Park on 17 October, at the end of the first round of games, was conspiratorial.  You would have thought Wee Willie John McFadyen’s computer was running things.  Suspicion was also raised that Newco visit Aberdeen on the opening day of the season.

I hope they continue to lay the conspiracy theories on thick, providing a ready excuse to fail.  They will need it.

I’ve not been on much recently, other than to read Paul’s output, but today I’m glad I popped in, great news my friend, great news.

Wee Willie John McFadyen was a loyal orange prod.

He thought that Ian Paisley was just one step down from God.

He thought they ate the children in the backroads of Ardoyne, and he thought that history started with the Battle of the Boyne!

  3. NB: Great to hear about your checkup but like most never knew you had problems. Interesting about your staples, I’ve had two knee replacements (different legs) well! ! Both mine but when I saw the 29 staples I thought they’d put a zip in for future checkups. Take care YNWA

Hello again all you young rebels.

At last some good news with NEUSTAD getting the all clear.

Felt really bad tonight telling the young mini roos there’s no training

again for another few weeks because we’re going on lockdown again

    from midnight tonight.

Young kids, they get so exited about soccer nights, it really is a joy to

try and teach them the beautiful game.

As for the under 17’s later on, well, it was a shrug of the shooders and

straight on their phones to their Sheilas lol.

Slide Rules? Never could understand them in fact these items came up in s conversation with retired civil engineer friend ” learned how they worked but never used in real life. Big bonus for me was calculator with square root.🥂

When I was doing my ONC there were a couple of lessons on using the slide rule – I became quite proficient at it. Still failed first time around. 😨

  7. The fact is, they are going to need to visit Pittodrie twice this season anyway.

Better to do it when it’s empty.

The SPFL fixtures did them a favor there and they still want to cry about it.

Like many on here I must have missed your original notification and, as result, you’ve not had any name checks on my bedtime prayers (other than being included in the global ‘…and God Bless all on CQN’ one). Onwards and upwards for you my Bhoy.

Hey there fella – like big JamesGang, BT and others, afraid I didn’t know about your OP until just now.

Delighted things went well – I’ll let Wee BGFC know – he’ll be pleased in the extreme :-))

On another point – watching those dafties in London in Soho – cheek to jowl, pi55ed – what a bunch of complete dough-balls. Darwinism in the raw.

I know England is actually a different country from us, but every time I turn on the news, it looks more and more like a COMPLETELY different country.

Don’t know if it is just what’s highlighted in the news, but I have the same “they are entirely different from me and mine” feeling that I get when I see a crowd of those ludge idiots parading up and down the streets.

Other than sharing a common language, they just seem so completely remote and alien in so many ways – and getting ever more so very quickly.

Oanywho – never mind them – great news for NEUSTADT-BRAW.

In an episode of M*A*S*H, Colonel Potter is trying to talk some sense into Winchester. The colonel misquotes Shakespeare when he says “Valor is not the only thing discretion is the better half of”. I believe Neustadt must must have seen this episode or he’s a fan of the playwright cos I think he’s kept his troubles to himself till there was a result worth reporting! That is, if the number of posters on here who knew nothing of his condition are to be believed, myself included!

Neustadt , tremendous news for you and you family . I hope your recovery goes well.

I passed the ticket office just before 2 pm today , I think it closes at 2 . There was no queue. My son and I both renewed online as we normally renew at the ticket office.

My wife and I went into the Tesco in the Forge Retail Park. Gerry McCulloch resplendent in his black Adidas Celtic t shirt which looked very smart.

Sally McCoist’s comments yesterday about the fixtures especially regarding the first Derby game being so late , sum that clown up. He’s savvy enough to know sky wanted that game as late into the first round of fixtures as possible but he does his rabble rousing bit instead of telling the sevs the real reason. From when he was a player , through his time as a coach then manager now media pundit , he always appeals to basic hun instinct but mainly as he is a horrible hun himself despite his public persona.

  17. Neustadt , WHITEDOGHUNCH and big Jimmy pleased for you all. Hopefully at the end of the season you get some more good news, although in the great scheme of things not as important :)
