Our leaders are happy with the status quo, the OF is back, it’s what they have craved for the past few years, they are happy to take a few crumbs from the CL and EL tables but europe is to much of a risk for them, too much spend for little return, they told us, they said that CL football every x seasons is the aim, to think they have any euro ambitions is crazy, they have their money maker in the OF, they are happy.
As for Clancey, demotion I reckon.

Just back from game,terrific display from the team, with very honourable mention for JF who played, in my view ,his best ever game.
He has the ability, so stop frustrating guys like me by only showing it on occasions when his head is right,like today he is a very complete player.
Visibly slowed after tackle but that was to be expected.

Was talking to Almore on phone when Swanson saw red. Said to him, never get a red if score was 0-0. Durty bassa

It’s a sobering message to those of us that still expect too much from Celtic in Europe that our 3 “hugely missed” players who got so many of our goals and assists last year are basically bench warmers for their new clubs.
Armstrong did not make the bench at all for a Southampton side that lost 3:0 at home.
Paddy Roberts got the final 9 minutes as Girona lost 2:3 at home to bottom half Eibar.
And Moussa is on the bench for a Lyon side that are 1:0 down in Paris to PSG. Lyon have made one of their 3 subs already and it is not Moussa.
All these players that we rate so highly are just stockpiled reserves to the teams that signed them.
That should give us some perspective on our thoughts for Celtic in Europe.
We are a development club to be predated upon.
We are a big fish in a small market.
We have to enjoy our domestic performances as we will suffer a lot of heartbreak in Europe until this monopolised competition is changed.
Well done today Celtic , performances like that will give us 8 no problem .
James forrest , 4 goals is great but Tom Rogic passing today was sublime .

Paddy will be back next season i think on a permanent deal. Career has stalled big time due to the uncertainty over his future. Noticed SA didn’t make the bench today, one thing about that is Hughes wont last long, whether that is a good thing or a bad thing for him, time will tell.
