Twenty years ago, they decide to make the Democrats blue, and the republicans red! You’ll drive yourself crazy if you try to figure out the American psyche!

    Enjoy your turkey

    Hi big fella

1969 Billy McNeil played in an unauthorised match in Spain, the sfa found out and fined him and others £50, which Scottish club was he representing ? )

  9. Surely to feck we can shove the boat out and offer Boyata a one year extension with a release clause that he can leave for anything over £5m next summer. We’ll lose him for free anyway and could really use him for the rest of this season.

  10. Been looking at the next few fixtures in the SPL and there really are a series of very tasty ties coming up. Here’s what the 4 best supported teams have to cope with in their next 4 games –

    CELTIC – Hibs (H), Dundee (A), Hearts (H), Livingston (A) – target 10 points

SEVCO – Hamilton (A), Kilmarnock (H), St Mirren (A), Motherwell (H) – despite them not winning away since February, possibly 12 points there

    HEARTS – Aberdeen (H), Dundee (A), Hibs (H), Celtic (A) – perhaps only 6 or 7 points

HIBS – Celtic (A), Hearts (A), St Johnstone (H), Aberdeen (A) – a really tough schedule with only 3 points certain

As for our traditional closest challengers Aberdeen (who Celtic are currently 4 points clear of) it doesn’t get any easier for them either – Hearts (A), Hamilton (H), Kilmarnock (A), Hibs (H) – like Hibs, probably only 3 points certain.

A month from now there’s every chance that there could be nothing to separate Celtic, Hearts and Sevco at the top with a 5 or 6 points gap to Hibs, the best of the rest.

The things you do with too much time on your hands………

On the train fae Dalmuir to Kilmarnock last week, I realised how many young Bankies travel to watch Celtic. All mental on beer and gear but well behaved representing Celtic.

  12. …and has embdy heard from The Tarbolton Scowler……………?

Not hard to figure ooot his Level.

I Rarely go to away games , got offered a couple of tickets today. So glad that i decided to go up.

Great all round performance from the team and hopefully we can kick on now.

Can’t remember the last time i was at a game in Perth.

Think Stuart Slater was playing for us.

Anyway, told my mate , you must get me a spare for every away game now.

If you have spare time on a Sunday night what you going to do on a Monday & Wednesay all day :)

By the way I think we both said somebody is going to get a doing when our double treble winners click, I have a feeling that won’t be the last humping our bhoys in white n green will dish out in the very near future :-)

  15. Gerry,

Thanks for your concerns but I have no doubt that Mrs Baldie will make sure that I always have plenty to do on a Monday and a Wednesday.

  16. In a very mild Manchester, I had to call off today’s game as I had to head south . The Lhad was my representative in Perth today and he enjoyed his day out. He is now safely back with his wee Mammy and I can relax and enjoy my cider in the hipster pub where I have been watching PSG hump Lyon. A good day for the Celtic family. Shame about this stupid international break. HH

  17. Another thing, have we found a very decent centre back? Wonder if he could be persuaded to hang around for another season?

Also , I know it’s not fair on wee James but Rogic was best player on Park today by a country mile.

    Jmccornick 10.27pm

Tom was good but wee Jamesy with four goals and the match ball away and fling shoite at the moon

James F = Man of the March am sure NorrieM would not disagree :-)

When “young” James gets to the end of this contract that will be two decades donning the hoops … some shift

  19. thomthethim for Oscar OK on

For the first time in many weeks, Lustig overlapped on the wi gs.

This gave Forrest the opportunity to cut in to great effect, by keeping the St.J defence stretched.

  20. Slabhoy - on the road to 10 on

Just watched the Killy pen incident. Total dive and should never have been awarded. But I care not a jot! Specifically because…

    1. wee McCann is their manager

    2. I had Killly picked in LMS

    as N-B would say… wee smiley thing…

  21. Gerryfaethebrig on

Pedro probably had a better record that Hunny Gee…. long may it last, the huns all love him ….

October, and he has just got them out of the bottom 6 :-) :-) :-)

  22. Slabhoy - on the road to 10 on

Jmccormack – I also thought Rogic MotM, killed them he did, but the wee man tucked them all away, so no quibbles there either

  23. DD

I said exactly that to the mate and to remember me for any spares and the luck i now carry.

I was expecting a close , tough game today and would have been happy with a 1-0 .

Great backing for the team today , really enjoyed my day out in Perth.

  24. Just back from dinner. Went out after game finished and have been catching up on all the happiness on here tonight. Thanks Celtic for a great performance today. The best all round display since we played Newco.

Leftclicktic said a Memorare for young Daniel and will pray for him at Mass tomorrow.

For those who can’t see the 2 “defensive” midfielders today you are portraying your lack of understanding of the team.

Ntcham and McGregor will play a more defensive role with Forrest and ROgic being more offensive. French Eddie will come in from the left.

This is a strong enough team and should see a comfortable win today IF we create the abundance of chances we create.

    Mike Sarne csc.

  27. Gerryfaethebrig on

One thing about Brendan the last few international breaks we go in to them on a fine footing ….

Fellow Celts good night n god bless …

Lurking huns when do you think hunny Gee will ever win a game of football away from the bigot dome

    That’s a rhetorical question ?
