Hi big fella
Question
1969 Billy McNeil played in an unauthorised match in Spain, the sfa found out and fined him and others £50, which Scottish club was he representing ? )
david17 on
Surely to feck we can shove the boat out and offer Boyata a one year extension with a release clause that he can leave for anything over £5m next summer. We’ll lose him for free anyway and could really use him for the rest of this season.
Jobo Baldie on
Been looking at the next few fixtures in the SPL and there really are a series of very tasty ties coming up. Here’s what the 4 best supported teams have to cope with in their next 4 games –
SEVCO – Hamilton (A), Kilmarnock (H), St Mirren (A), Motherwell (H) – despite them not winning away since February, possibly 12 points there
HEARTS – Aberdeen (H), Dundee (A), Hibs (H), Celtic (A) – perhaps only 6 or 7 points
HIBS – Celtic (A), Hearts (A), St Johnstone (H), Aberdeen (A) – a really tough schedule with only 3 points certain
As for our traditional closest challengers Aberdeen (who Celtic are currently 4 points clear of) it doesn’t get any easier for them either – Hearts (A), Hamilton (H), Kilmarnock (A), Hibs (H) – like Hibs, probably only 3 points certain.
A month from now there’s every chance that there could be nothing to separate Celtic, Hearts and Sevco at the top with a 5 or 6 points gap to Hibs, the best of the rest.

Gerry,
Thanks for your concerns but I have no doubt that Mrs Baldie will make sure that I always have plenty to do on a Monday and a Wednesday.
In a very mild Manchester, I had to call off today’s game as I had to head south . The Lhad was my representative in Perth today and he enjoyed his day out. He is now safely back with his wee Mammy and I can relax and enjoy my cider in the hipster pub where I have been watching PSG hump Lyon. A good day for the Celtic family. Shame about this stupid international break. HH

Another thing, have we found a very decent centre back? Wonder if he could be persuaded to hang around for another season?
Also , I know it’s not fair on wee James but Rogic was best player on Park today by a country mile.

Tom was good but wee Jamesy with four goals and the match ball away and fling shoite at the moon
James F = Man of the March am sure NorrieM would not disagree :-)
When “young” James gets to the end of this contract that will be two decades donning the hoops … some shift
I see Pedro’s team is top of the league in Mexico, I miss him and his barking caravans.
For the first time in many weeks, Lustig overlapped on the wi gs.
This gave Forrest the opportunity to cut in to great effect, by keeping the St.J defence stretched.
Just watched the Killy pen incident. Total dive and should never have been awarded. But I care not a jot! Specifically because…
1. wee McCann is their manager
2. I had Killly picked in LMS
as N-B would say… wee smiley thing…

For those who can’t see the 2 “defensive” midfielders today you are portraying your lack of understanding of the team.
Ntcham and McGregor will play a more defensive role with Forrest and ROgic being more offensive. French Eddie will come in from the left.
This is a strong enough team and should see a comfortable win today IF we create the abundance of chances we create.

One thing about Brendan the last few international breaks we go in to them on a fine footing ….
Fellow Celts good night n god bless …

That’s a rhetorical question ?
