    Apart from winning a game which looked like we’d drop 2 points in it was also again a game where the decisions of the referee were both farcical and also unbelievable. Set aside the martial arts type ‘tackling’ which is not only allowed against Celtic players but encouraged but add to this the ‘expert football analysis’ from Andy Walker; ‘it would be given as a foul outside the box but you’d never get a penalty in the box’. Whit?! He’s paid for this complete and utter nonsense and absolute zero knowledge of the rules of the game. Or is he talking about the ‘rules of the game’ in Scotland? Where clear penalties for Celtic are not only not given they are ‘explained away’ by ‘expert analysis from the pundits. Added to this on this site Timo Weah reported that the imbecile with the whistle yesterday told him that he was not booked for celebrating with the crowd because the fans did not fall over! How many of our players have been booked for leaving the pitch was Forrest not booked for just that and he didn’t make contact with any supporter, I think that may well have been in Perth also. Is this truly the 1690 rule of refereeing in Scotland?! (Or any lodge number of your choosing).

    Andrew Dallas is a laughing stock in Scottish Football and not just amongst Celtic fans, he awarded a penalty in the BetFred final for a foul clearly outside the Aberdeen penalty box. Incompetent, knee jerk, reactionary first and foremost, but it doesn’t excuse him from being a cheat when the chips are either up, or down.

     

     

    His insistence on giving Rainjurz at every opportunity may have been wasteful, ( except for goal difference ) but he still did it anyway perhaps because he just couldn’t help himself? When the SFA look at the video Dallas will go down a league or two for his next game, he’ll reappear in the SPL, dovetailing with the other incompetents and cheats.

     

     

    Institutional bias was more demonstrated in the very next game by Willie Collum who refused Celtic of one penalty from three claims, he did it and denied SMSM of playing the old firm violin of ‘penalty weekend’ sees Celtic and Rainjurz win. Rainjurz were fined for complaining about Collum as you’ll know, maybe we should take the hit too, then we could loo forward to having Craig Thomson instead.

     

     

    There isn’t a good referee in the Scottish game, and cheating as you suggest has different forms and subtleties, and as we already knew Dallas and subtle don’t go.

    Italian media’s view of that wowee shift from Collum ( and his assistants ) was that they were conforming to UEFA command -ie UEFA had grown tired of fining Lazio re the behaviour of some of the Lazio support and while wanting to ban Lazio from UEFA competitions realized that would set a pesky precedent and therefore it was easier to ensure that Lazio were eliminated on the pitch.

    I don’t know if he’s a nice guy or whatever, but as a pundit he is one useless tool.

     

     

    Apart from that he seems to be obliged to big up Celtics opponents and highlight every Celtic flaw. In trying to be ‘unbiased’ he becomes the very opposite.

     

     

    I know his background is Celtic but he’s made his living feeding the anti Celtic brigade and for that he can get right to ……….

    Delighted with our win. Make no mistake this was a mega vital 3 points.

     

     

    I also think Dallas’s farcical ” performance ” will be counter productive to the huns. If that was honest mistakes then his level of incompetence should mean he must be demoted.

     

     

    And our very own Timmy Wear plays and speaks so eloquently that i wonder if he will continue to replicate his father’s career after footie. Early days yet I know, but one to watch.

    Yesterday was the kind of away game we’ve been dropping points in this season.It was good to see Broonie being more positive,playing forward passes and moving the ball a lot quicker.

     

    Reading the papers from Saturday it’s obvious the line on the 4 penalties is make a joke of it ,it should have been 5 penalties,no real analysis.

     

    On a cricketing matter West Indies’ captain, Jason Holder, has been suspended from the last Test in St Lucia because of his side’s slow over rate in the Antigua Test, which finished with more than two days to spare.Looks like the cricket authorities are taking advice from the SFA.

    When Celtic signed Timothy they signed a whole lot more Spiritually.

     

     

    As all the great contributors pointed out Yesterday, Timo wisnae booked and quite rightly so, only in Scotland would this be jibber jabber.

     

     

    The Bhoy IMO means we will get the Great 8.

     

     

    I Hope Pedro can convince PSG to let Timo stay for another year. That would be TRULY Magical and another Gift from the Lord Almighty.

    Just watched the highlights on Yu tube again. Everytime I see it Burke clearly has his legs swept away from under him, clear penalty. As for Ajer yes it was a foul but a clear goalscoring opportunity? I dont think so. If you watch it again Collum looks to his linesman before deciding on the colour of the card even though he was closer to the incident.
