    Immaterial in the game tonight but when was the last time you saw full time as a corner was to be taken, add that to a sub 45 minute 1st half – you would think goal difference might be important to some folk!

    Putting the second half down to experimentation and energy saving. Peculiar from NFL to react as he did to MJ. He seemed to have words with him immediate after he got injured. Don’t like that. But maybe there is something MJ has done contrary to instructions.

     

     

    Maybe the simunovic subbing was a message to PL to get the cheque book oot?

     

     

    Maybe I’m hopelessly optimistic about all things Celtic!!

    We set the standards for ourselves in that sizzling first half performance.

     

    Our second half performance was dull in comparison.

    Really took our foot off the gas. The change of personnel didn’t help us. Until we went 4-2-3-1 again.

     

     

    Johnston made a selfish decision to stay on. He was told to feck off by Neil Lennon when he walked up the tunnel

    Lenny Raging, not half as raging as me,What coach with his team 3/0 up at halftime ,then in the second half you would think it’s a different team playing,no wonder the fans are quiet when they are watching what the coach wants,

    What a difference a half of football makes.

     

     

    3-0 away on a wet Wednesday night in a league race, 3 points. Really good performance with a strong line up. Changed it round, it didn’t work, but it didn’t matter.

     

     

    Christie, el Hamed and Elyonousi a game closer to being back to fitness.

     

     

    I’d take that as a lot of positives

    First half Jekyll , second half Hyde. Maybe the change in line up and the heavy pitch contributed to the pancake flat second half. A comfortable win was what we needed but I would have loved to see us keep the pedal to the metal.

    We now have to win. Score at least 3 goals per half, play like Barca in their pomp, get no injuries, have everyone hugging and high fiving and sign two top class players by midnight before we are satisfied?

    with the game over at half time after a fantastic flowing performance in heavy energy sapping conditions. Lennon changes the team (either tactically or enforced) and the shape is gone. This tells us we need sufficient coverage – Benkovic would have stepped in for Simunovic (who I like but we cannot depend on his availability)

     

     

    Get that business done or another similar type center back.

     

     

    Mike J – I’ve been saying for weeks – he is like a spoilt immature moody little lad – Lennon has no time for this attitude and had issues with mcgeady for similar selfish behavior. Mikey was injured and instead of going off , tried to play on – In doing so he risked the team and worsening his own injury. NL told him to F.Off as he was walking off – he was furious! Not good to see and I don’t think its good for his confidence BUT it will teach him a major lesson! this is not schoolboy football!

     

     

    Klimala looks fast and strong – look forward to seeing him get more game time.

     

     

    Taylor – great distribution, knows how to go forward and defend. Puts a delightful ball consistently into the box .

     

     

    Forrest – looks fresh again

     

     

    I’m happy but we need physicality – midfield and defense

    I can understand Mikey J being desperate to get back in the team but by the look on Lenny’s face when he had to come off leaving us with 10 men!

     

    Let’s just say he would not be getting a friendly arm round the shoulder from the boss. Hope the lad learns something from that.

    Think Mikey J will find it hard to get back in Lenny’s team… Lenny was raging and quite rightly so.

    Don’t know how many systems we played tonight, and at times I don’t think Bauer did when he came on. Sort it out Lenny.
