players get injured , but we should have had a direct replacement on the bench to allow the same formation, a back 3 , when Jozo goes off we have to make 2 changes Bauer at right wing back and our captain to centre back.
I would be VERY surprised if Lenny didn’t criticise our second half….
Griff is certainly looks like he’s going to make a good contribution toward the second half of our season.
If we can get Elyounoussi back and firing then we’ll be in good shape.
On a side note young Defoe was stretchered off at the Bigot Dome, seems he did his hamstring. That is bad news for us as the Huns now likely to splash 20 million on a replacement.

I too was impressed with Taylor, remember getting beat by the Saints a few years ago and walking down the road to town, got dogs abuse from some young neds on the local bus. Just laughed and said to Miss Prestonpans, let them enjoy happens once in a blue moon and oh it’s your round
First half we were sublime. Second half , playing Broonie in a back three , we lost our rhythm. Did Lenny not say earlier that we are covered at the back for CH’s?
Anyway it didn’t work.
Couldn’t believe MJ comes on 5 minutes after OD takes a knock. A perfect opportunity for the new guy to come on.
Lennon’s reaction to MJ having to come off was appalling BTW. Looks like he was covering up for his own inadequacies for putting him on in the first place.
Don’t think the lad is first team ready yet as a team player . Just hope his confidence isn’t shattered after that public bullocking.

we were absoulutley magnificent in the first half, as good as I have seen all season, but second half we ……… fill in the blanks. oh by the way thought greg John taylor played very well.

Great first 30 minutes, 1st goal outstanding, press was very good. Change of tactic lead to poor second half. Overall it was a good result. Onwards to the next game.
If Joso is out again and cant play sunday then we should go with 433.
Taylor’s best game in the hoops tonight, Griff with another goal and 3 points in the bag = a good night

Re. Johnston it could have been a couple of things
1. Johnston wasn’t 100% fit to begin with and told Lenny he was meaning Lenny wasted a sub putting him on.
2. He got injured in the tackle (which he pulled out of) and told Lenny he could play on when he couldn’t.
3. Lenny didnt believe he was as injured as he was saying and is annoyed he didn’t just suck it up and get on with it.
4. Johnston, when he did get on didnt follow tactical instructions Lenny had given him.
Either way I can see why Lenny was annoyed, it annoyed me watching it. But at least it disproves the theory that Lenny is too friendly with the players
Ill be writing to Celtic tomorrow demanding why we never entertained at 3-0 up away in Perth in January.

Lenny is as due criticism as any of our team,when they perform badly.I love Lenny,but I am no sycophant.When we went 3-0 up,Eddy should have been hooked.Klimala put on.Why risk Eddy for another 20 mins.No rhyme or reason for that stupid decision.

*After a horrendous end to the year we are now in the midst of an 8 game away run, including trips tae hun friendly kilmasonic and the black north lambeg pounder managed home of the patron saint of the craft.
The latter on a dreich night being officiated by the worse exponent of refereeing in the country.
And yet after going 3 up we relaxed, saving our bruised and battered limbs for a trip tae fat boy bus driver and sevco benefactors other side on Sunday with another clean sheet intae the bargain. That is good management.

I think Lenny was expecting Eddie to score within 10 mins making it 4-0
At that point he could have played oul Jessie the tea wummin (ooh sexist) and still be able to relax.
Like a few others I thought tonight second half was the perfect time to be tinkering with formation and subs.
What we learned is that the majority of players are not bright enough to change formation during a game which is quite shocking when you consider they are well paid and supposed to be professionals, a Simple change from 3-5-2 to 4-4-2 appears to be too much for them.
