  1. St Stivs 6:36

I’m a Scotland fan but there is a growing apathy among supporters of many teams re the number of international games played these days.

Griffiths getting called up after not starting a game for 7 months (I believe). That does show the desperation.

  2. Call of Juarez – 640 (ish)

Klimala and Griffiths to start? Not for me thanks.

I’d keep both until later on in the game when there are tired legs out there. Neither have had enough minutes under their belt to merit a start in my eyes.

Ajeti and Eddie for me with Griffiths coming on for Ajeti after 1 hour – or earlier if we are 5 up 😉

Dont think the huns will be frightened of the current Eddie. Its difficult to believe just how far off the pace he is at the moment. He made zero contribtion today.

Paddy’s pace and aggression may surprise them.

  4. By the this time tomorrow night we may know who the trouble makers Lenny referred to after the Ferencvaros game who have been angling for a move, my money is on Christie, Ajer or Ntcham. There is defenately a disconnect and a split in the camp

  5. Peterlatchfordsbelly,

Put Griffiths beside Eddie and have a No. 10 in from the start and we would have skooshed that game. Eddie / Moi (2 terrific players) doesn’t work.

Get the system right. Play the best players in their best positions. luckily we have a squad to die for and players to come off it who are game changers.

Good and bad for Neil and his team today.

  6. If by tomorrow evening we have only lost NtCham and used the money to secure a left back of at least equal standard to his first team mates leaving room for Turnbull/Rogic and provides a left wing threat I think most of our concerns will prove unnecessary.

Form is temporary, class is permanent. Up to Neil and the team to get Eddie up for it and properly supported on the pitch (not 1 up front).

He remains the best player in the country. Play him.

    Majesic Hi

Don’t think Ajeti will be fit.

Have you ever seen any body score a goal like Paddy’s today? This boy really wants to be here.

  9. Poor Ollie Ntcham,

If only he could point more, laugh in oppostion players’ faces more or overhit constantly on free kicks and corners more, he’d be much more appreciated.

Blood n snotters over gallic class it seems.

Of course Eddy is our best player. Let’s hope he can get sorted out.

As for the huns game, I will be happy with a point. It”s a must win for the huns.

Ntcham is a class act when he chooses to be. It’s just that this is a rare event and I believe his heart may be elsewhere. The thing about selling players on the last day of the window is that the money would more than likely be sent to sit in the Celtic FC bank account…

  12. We need a left back/wing back badly.

IMO And I have gave him every opportunity but Taylor is not our answer, everything goes down his side and breaks down.

Anyway 3 points in the onion bag.

    D :)

Also think Ryan is starting to believe his own press. If he thinks he’s better than us then get him TF….

  14. Nick Walsh is a PE teacher at Boclair Academy in Bearsden and Wiki says he is a jags fan. My mate went to that school and is a Jags fan.

as such, Nick may not be anti Celtic for the usual reasons; might just be fed up with us winning. He certainly wouldn’t allow us any contact with the opposition without whistling. got it right with most of their fouls apart from not red carding yer man at the end

  15. Trying to stay as positive as possible so is it not good that we’re still grinding out the results while we try and find our first 11 and our a system that suits that 11🤷‍♀️

    God loves a trier 😉

  16. The change of formation near the end made all the difference today; we have too many sitting back to defend 1 man (sometimes no man).

In saying that, the formation changes allowed Christie and especially McGregor to pile forwards. made space for wide men to cross.

We are very risk averse at the moment, hence the narrow wins

We might end up doing a rope a dope on 17th and stay tight for 75m and then go nuts!!

  17. Rock Tree Bhoy on

Cant think of one domestic game I’ve seen since this fans lock out that has been any good, most of them are simply dire, no one and nothing is standing out, it’s not just Celtic. No fans, no atmosphere, nothing.

“Football without Fans is nothing”, he was dead right.

  18. Napoli have been blocked by health authorities from travelling to Turin to face Juventus.

Juventus have insisted the match go ahead, Serie A officials have agreed, so Juventus will line up and then be awarded the 3 points.

    What a joke.

  19. THE Rangers Youth Development Company have handed over another £50,000 to the club that will go towards the upkeep of Ibrox.

    —–=====================

That was awful nice of them .

  20. Just watched the goals on Sportscene.

What a header from Leigh! Superb!

    Patrick’s was also a cracker!

Lesser men would have stayed down after that awful challenge.

Mibbe the manager will learn something from today’s performance.

    Hope springs……………………………

  21. 3-1 now, could be 5-2. Some crazy football these days.

Gonna stick some money on the scousers winning

  22. Big Georges Fan Club - Hail, Hail, Wee Oscar on

    Thanks CONEYBOY for the context.

Thought he was very eager to book Turnbull for one minor foul, but their no8 had four or possibly 5 – two quite bad – before getting the red midway through 2nd half.

Also – last tackle vs Paddy was a very dangerous challenge, no attempt at the ball. Got a yellow, should have been red.

Also, also – and this one was blatant – wee Jeremy went through three fouls from right wing coming inside – eventually brought down by fourth hack at him on edge of D centre of goals. Walsh pulled it back to first foul out near the wing instead of for the one that brought Jeremy down, and that was in prime position for a shot.

    Cheat / pure and simple…

    …evenif he is a Jag.

    Good backgrount – ta!!

One last week annoyed me too – I think against St Mirren. Ball played off the ref and landed at opposition – ref played on. That is NOT the rules!!! Supposed to be an uncontested drop ball for the team who played the ball last – i.e., Celtic!

    Rampant cheating.
