Why the desperation to see this much talked about,January Review.What pearls of wisdom will it spew forth.Up until January,we had won the League,another Treble,and were right in there fighting for the League.Dubai put paid to that.We have a new CEO coming,a DOF,probably a new Scout,so is it only managerial news that’s left,you want to hear.Think you are going to be let down.

I wouldn’t expect a new manager/head coach at this point either, unless the right guy is available & willing to come now to assess the team ahead of next season’s UCL qualifiers.
The whole handling of the PR has been a disaster though. And only couple months short of season ticket renewals.
I thought the plc were capable of more. Complacency on their part, combined with a global pandemic and other unique (but manageable) circumstances….Dubai, player contracts running down and wanting away etc, dubious coaching/first team management and a legitimate challenger this season…..has left us where we are.

If Moyes, Clarke….even Benitez etc are the plc’s target / height of ambition, then club are in more trouble than I thought. Short term vision & throwing cash at big names isn’t the answer here. They did that with Rodgers and while the quadruple treble is a great achievement, a strategic long term plan has been evidently missing and the reason why the club now finds itself in this position, for most part. PLC has really failed in its duties here.
I’m really hoping plc are extending their search far and wide with an open mind. Bringing in outside consulting on the correct football operations structure for club, From DOF / head coach right down to scouting / recruitment network and every other facet of the club.
That and remaining board members being replaced.
It is unfortunate for the huns that on the only two occasions when any of them have breached the Covid regulations they have been caught by Plod.
I mean, what are the odds on that?
On the other hand they have been fortunate in that on the only two occasions when any of them have breached the regulations there has been no subsequent mixing with the rest of the squad.
