Pretty awful first half, again
Eddy, Christie and Turnbull all dropping back to get the ball. Congested midfield with noone stretching the defense.
Eddy is a wonderful player, a complee virtuoso, but we need a Gary Hooper type strike, penalty box sniffing about for scarps tap in, playing on the shoulder.
We would score much more goals if we had someone of that nature
One striker never really works. I wish Eddie had a battering ram, like Joe Jordan was, to play of.
Well another lacklustre half of football. Only Turnbull, Rogic, and Broony showing anything.
This insistence on playing one forward who constantly feels the need to drop back to try and collect, aided and abetted by various midfielders that play their forward role like….well like a midfielder…..is killing us.
With Eddy dropping so deep we lose the possibility of even long punts forward having any chance of success whereas with two up front we’d immediately double that option’s potential success rate.
Especially when opponents do their best to flood the middle of the park.
Lenny is learning nothing despite the same issues presenting themselves every week.
For me he is part of the problem and not the solution.
I expect nothing to change as long as he is in charge, and it amazes me that the powers that be have continued to sit on their hands.
Poor first 30…lot better last 15……our shooting is woeful……Turnbull has to slip other players in sometimes
NL — Although there is a huge amount of competition he has been the the porrest performer in the first half.
Interesting to see how we respond now. Wouldn’t mind seeing Klimala getting a run out.

The much maligned Duffy has played well, our final ball in the box has been poor.
Looks like a game between two teams who have nothing to play for………..One up front, does he never learn?
Lenny why change a winning formula with 2 up front back to 1 and over crowding the midfield , right out of you’re how to set a team up coaching manual .

Turnbull, Rogic and Christie all playing in the same area
Hope Neil enjoyed our body language during that half
imo we seem to be playing 1-4-6 (midfielders) , either get eddy off or get someone on to give him a hand.
Hopefully Eddy will get in the groove second half as lots of play broke down when he got it, the ball hitting his shins or the defenders. If we had someone who could strike a ball with power and accuracy we’d have had 2 or 3 first half

Nothing coming down our right making it easy for Opposition to get in the way on the left … Ryan as a CF not working… we should play guys in the right position and the team will have a better balance

Whaddya get when you have a team fill of midfielders, no focal point up front and 2 full backs incapable of getting to the byeline?
You get that chaotic borefest. The more frustrated we got the more we resorted to poor decision-making and shooting fro distance – Turnbull and RC at worst.
St Johnstone pushing us left, leaving Brown with plenty of time and hoping for a classic Duffy moment. They look hardworking but pretty awful themselves so can’t see them creating a chance.
The substitution tombola says like for like from 65 minutes wnwards….

the league is well gone , why revert back to 1 up front , try something different go with 3 up front , kilmala, eddy ajeti , what have we to lose other than watching this abysmal performance.
Interesting stat…..celtic have more second half goals than anyone else…..doesn’t really fit the……unfit mantra
Very difficult for Eddy.Not an ounce of space,not easy to control the ball quickly.two men on him.The saying the pitch is the same for both teams,is a load of cobblers.This suits the likes of Saints,not a footballing team.

The pitch is poor but these are the pitches that we must play on in Scotland.
Pretty sure we played on these same pitches during 9IAR and the invincible treble.
