£3.5 million for Bernardo is daylight robbery.
————
No one could disagree. Here we are without Matt, our best player last season and we look stronger than ever in midfield.
Brendan says of the squad “we are all on the same page” – yes indeed, and the defence, midfield and forwards are all writing perfect paragraphs in this developing story……and Kasper signing a masterstroke.
We are seeing joined-up football at its best – more difficult games lie ahead of course, but our good habits should stand us in good stead.

I was sitting here earlier this afternoon reading about a cup semi final taht I went to at tat den of inequity where we beat an excellent pars side 2-0, chopper and ten thirty were on fire and the football was scintillating, and this feels the same way right now.
just before ange resigned I wondered if he could keep that pace up so didnae shed a tear or worry when he eventually did leave, the return of the at time named “fraud” actually didnae upset me as much as I thought it would as big DD personally head hunted him, he got off to a dodgy start, had a hiccup mid season but at the end were were double champions again
All we have to fear now at home are the officials and even then IMHO its just like the Big Mhan said score enough as they cannae chalk them all of, or words tae that effect

Good morning all from a fine, nae a beautiful Sunday in the Garngad. Weather….who cares
How good were we last night and how bad was thar Robertson Referee canute. After about 20 minutes I do not think we received a single foul after having about 80% of play. Another world 1st as St Johnstone got at least 8 or 9 fouls in that time.
We must be as dirty as fuck….
This pattern of assistance by referees has been happening for a good few years now and needs to be looked at.
Anyway we move on to Dortmound and does anyone think Brendan will change his system?
I would go 4- 5 – 1 with Diazan up top running down everything and get players up on counter attack.
Either way we I think Brendan has to change something asking the same old same old in Europe doesn’t work.
Bring on Tuesday.
Drambowie- you 72 and doing all that work? Respect sir.
My arthritic body would crumble.

Every team in the Premiership employs the same tactic against Celtic. Whenever there is the merest hint of contact between a Celtic player and an opponent, the opponent hits the deck and 9 times out of 10, the referee gives a free kick. It happened no fewer than 9 times in the first 20 minutes.
Surely by a simple human learning process, referees would eventually begin to see through such nefarious tactics, but no, that goes against the grain in Scotland.

Cheating us by the mibs is part of their DNA. I have been watching Celtic for the best part of 70 years. Nothing ever changes. Just think what we might have won if we hadn’t been on the receiving end.

Great Game Yesterday…
Well done Brendan and the bhoys, this team is really maturing into one of the greats.
As we are short of prep time for Dortmund, it looks like we set up, and used the opposition as a sparing partner for the main event on Tuesday.
If so that begs the question, how close were we to the team that will kick off in Germany?
Like many struggling to pick out three players from that sublime performance
Kyogo was back on form and looking the part, Bernardo made it difficult for Brendan not to start him a scored an excellent goal
For the third I’m going with Valle…
The young men really stepped up and played very intelligently and unselfishly
Have a good, long look at Robertson’s face when he was told by VAR that Idah’s goal stood. Absolutely pig sick he was. OK, he and his assistant got it wrong, but that’s what VAR was intended for. I wouldn’t expect him to be elated, but his coupon was torn. Someone said that Robertson had a Timmy background – IF that is the case then he has obviously sold out big style. Anything to get on in that rats workplace I suppose.

Outstanding performance , 7 great goals, but final goal was an absolute masterpiece,
If that was scored in the EPL it would be shown around the clock.
Dortmund will ask totally different questions but the Dortmund game will not define our season,
How we play out there is important, it will give us a health check on where we stand,
a point would be magic but if we play well I’ll be Happy.
A good game for Trusty to come in to as well
@Parkhead ..Ok.. I have every channel going…..I can get my grandson to set you up .
So you never miss any game….I’m just up the top of lyle road ..
