    Ach well.

Team are sleepwalking to the title and they know it.

Points gap and exertion earlier in the season have seen us drop off markedly.

Brendan can now dispense with the “we finish strong” line.

It’s past it’s sell by date.

    Seriously, WTF was that??

    A truly shocking performance.

  3. It’s the fans next Saturday that deserve an apology.

We’ll probably win it next Sunday without kicking ball now.

  4. Is this the same St Jonstone we have to play in the Scottish Cup Semi-Final?

Or is it a different St Johnstone?

Need a new manager. Nothing improved in months.

    Regression and players not motivated,

Wasted money on Adam and Arne.

    Elite? Aye.

Poor decision making but the shooting was appalling, you never win games if you make the opponents’ goalkeeper man of the match by shooting straight at him.

    Onwards and upwards champions, eventually

  7. Well done St Johnstone, great organisation & attitude. Stats suggest Celtic deserved at least a point.

Fortunately for Celtic, TRFC are unable to apply pressure.

    Take care all.

  8. Shocking 1st half from Celtic.

Or Subs did much better in the 2nd half, and the Saints Goalie did well for his team.

YANG and TAYLOR certainly livened up Celtic in the 2nd half.

    It just wasn’t our Day.

    HH.

  9. the team didn’t show any urgency until the last 15 minutes. nowhere near good enough and BR should apologise to the 6000 fans who cheered them right to the end.

  10. we have never learned on how to break down a packed defence and they say you learn from previous experience , don’t think so.

  11. The tempo that Celtic play at gives every team a chance, 10 passes when 3 would do this needs addressed something stinks, .

  12. Can’t fault the effort but just wasn’t to be today. We had enough chances to win the game. StJ rode their luck and worked very hard for their win. Be glad to see the back of this pitch next season.

Grade A garbage. 3 wins in 8 against the shecht in Scotland is mediocrity.

Kuhn has a character issue. Sell. Give me Jamesy all day.

Schlupp is a dud. Here as part of his retirement plan. Our results have bombed since he came into the team. Give me Taylor ahead of him.

As for Trusty. He wasted more time than St J with his treacle like passing all game. Honking.

There’ll be a good bit of turnover in the summer. Hopefully the above will be part of it. Likely we’ll lose Hatate and Maeda too, possibly CCV. I would take our money back for Engels as well if we can get it. A nothing player.

I’d respectfully suggest today is not a day for highlighting the faults of individuals.

    Clearly a cultural, systematic failure.

Credit to the players and the manager, we don’t suffer many but … as pointed out about our recent points tally …. we’ve had too many in short order.

Vital that kind of thing doesn’t take root.

That stuff killed the old huns attempt at 10IAR.

  15. we haven’t switched off anything , cant defend corners or free kicks etc. into our box , a long punt up the park between our centre backs and its panic stations, no overlapping from wing backs , midfield that cant cope when pressed, could go on and on.

But we are still top .

A pretty insipid showing from the first whistle.

The St J goal was a repeat of the Raskin header with – again – our London loanee out-jumped at a glancing header opp. A week or so saying our prob v the Huns was there was no CalMac playing.

He played today and couldnt get his pals fired up to beat a bottom of the league side.

We’re playing in perfect conditions with 60% fan dominance in a rural stadium and we failed to show up.

Yep, so maybe my piss is boiling having just watched that but FFS, that was a lamentable showing by quite a few of our ‘stars’.

  17. could we not come up something to counter

-put 2 players on calmac and get at them early-

  18. It wasn’t a great performance by us but there must be a mental thing about being so far in front. However, St J did really well and let’s not forget the saves their keeper pulled off.

  19. If Engels Hatate McCowan Yang Kuhn Forrest were playing like that for any other team in Scotland, would you want to sign them?

  20. lots of thinking to do before end of this season and start of next from the management , our central defence is poor and weak as water , happy to play sloooow square and back passing between themselves , sorry imo but CCV hasn’t looked fit all season ,cumbersome , no pace, cant jump and prone to panic and out muscled this season .

  21. Just arrived home and checked the score – won’t bother reading back – do we want to win the league 🤬
