St Johnstone were awarded a free kick for toffee, Kayal was booked for encroaching and from the re take the Bhoys swept forward and scored the second. Quite an important part of the match!

Celtic fans doing the huddle.
Important to emphasise the wondrousness of the second Celtic goal. Charlie M jumped and won the ball cleanly on the edge of the Celtic box. Euan Norris took an age to award a free-kick to St J. Liam Craig hit it into the wall after a team-mate dummied hitting it. Kayal had broken to close the ball down and got booked for going too early and Euan Norris spotted up the St J free-kick again. This time, Craig hit it into Kayal.
It was from this that James Forrest broke forward and, with Samaras, brilliantly set up Ki for the second goal. We were under pressure.
Round ye, Norris.
GOAL! Celtics go Two for O!
Brilliant break up the park from StJ free kick on edge of our box as ref looke dto even it up quickly, the wee dick.
Forrest runs onto pass up right wing, take sit at them from halfway, three v two, cuts it into Sammi charging down middle. Pass is slightly behind Sammi but he gathers it, holds a sec, lets Forrest run into box, right channel, then slips it to him.
Young forrest keeps his head, doesn’t shoot, looks up and cuts it along six yard box to Ki at far post who slams it into the net via Keeper’s despairing dive.
Beautiful breakaway strike.
