3-0 is acceptable. The team still look poor for Europe but more than ok for SPFL …
Not long back from Perth and I’d like say well done to Ronny and the players.
It’s been a tough few weeks results wise for our team and although there is still much to work on, it was vitally important that we got a result tonight.
I thought Gordon, VVD, Izzy and young McGregor shone brighter than most.
We desperately need a penalty box striker.

How the euphoria of Celtic Park being beamed worldwide and to the space station so quickly turned to doom n gloom over the last week.

Aye the atmosphere was decent tonight which isn’t always the case up there. Being right over beside their supporters added a bit of fun :-)

Just what someone posted on here earlier tonight when his omission from the team and bench was being discussed.
I know there was crap about him buying a new pair of shoes and put pictures of them on twitter.

I watched the game in Portugal tonight, in the company of my wife & kids, so I didn’t have the benefit of the Sky commentary and analysis ( Get this – Portuguese Channel Sport 1 was showing the Hoops, and will be doing so again on Saturday). First half I thought we were dominant, but wee James was our only creative threat. On the penalty – it was one of those that 40 years ago was a dive – but if Michael Owen or Gary Neville were watching it they would say ” the forward has to go down.” The team is definitely getting used to the new manager, but even if we go out to Maribor I don’t want people calling for his head – two training sessions a day is the way to go, and if the players have any spare time then they should mosey along to Yorkhill hospital and get a dose of humility. Finally, I didn’t see Neil McCann tonight, but I’ve always tried to defend him in the past – was it that bad?
Oh and – Ronny isn’t on Twitter, which is fine by me.
