  1. Jon Inge looks to be a player to me,his movement and positional play will pay dividends for us,CG will make us forget FF,and McCann will be a suitable case for treatment before too long,

The managers understated reply to the penalty claim by Sky punditry made my day.

  2. Ronny’s bhoys in charge of blog tonight, last couple of nights ye were outnumbered. The Celtic Roller Coaster is never on an even keel, its either up or down. Anyways tribunal result to look forward to tomorrow and flag raising next Saturday. Let the madness continue.

  3. Delighted with 3 0………score flattered us a wee bit……but all take it..

Thought the defence looked terribly shaky at times………..and felt for Biton …..on his own in midfield !!……..Johansen another shocker for me……

    Still an improvement…

  4. Not long back from Perth and I’d like say well done to Ronny and the players.

It’s been a tough few weeks results wise for our team and although there is still much to work on, it was vitally important that we got a result tonight.

I thought Gordon, VVD, Izzy and young McGregor shone brighter than most.

We desperately need a penalty box striker.

Gradual improvement week on week will do me just now. Like Jude, I believe Cifcti would be a star here. We need his type of player badly.

Was thinking that this morning as I walked to work.

How the euphoria of Celtic Park being beamed worldwide and to the space station so quickly turned to doom n gloom over the last week.

And I’ll put my hand up to that mood change in myself.

    Night Timdom.

You Bhoys and Ghirls behind both goals tonight were magic. :)

    Great vocal support!

  8. A few times tonight midfielders had absolutely no pass on…Leigh Griffiths must be misbehaving off the pitch as he should be playing.

Aye the atmosphere was decent tonight which isn’t always the case up there. Being right over beside their supporters added a bit of fun :-)

Any ideas where Griffiths was tonight?

I don’t know much about betting or if McCann’s a betting man or not. Maybe he had a pile of cash on St. Johnstone and is disappointed :-))

  12. Earlier tonight on here, someone claimed that LG had got into a twitter barney with some last week, that some fan(s) made a comment about his children and he had reacted.

Just what someone posted on here earlier tonight when his omission from the team and bench was being discussed.

I know there was crap about him buying a new pair of shoes and put pictures of them on twitter.

Several comments on here last night that some had heard he was for the off.

I watched the game in Portugal tonight, in the company of my wife & kids, so I didn’t have the benefit of the Sky commentary and analysis ( Get this – Portuguese Channel Sport 1 was showing the Hoops, and will be doing so again on Saturday). First half I thought we were dominant, but wee James was our only creative threat. On the penalty – it was one of those that 40 years ago was a dive – but if Michael Owen or Gary Neville were watching it they would say ” the forward has to go down.” The team is definitely getting used to the new manager, but even if we go out to Maribor I don’t want people calling for his head – two training sessions a day is the way to go, and if the players have any spare time then they should mosey along to Yorkhill hospital and get a dose of humility. Finally, I didn’t see Neil McCann tonight, but I’ve always tried to defend him in the past – was it that bad?

Enjoy Portugal. The wee turncoat realises that he sold his soul for an EBT. Knows the consequences he faces, and is now an evangelical hun convert. The Port’s shame!

I’m hearing that Legia’s appeal has been dismissed. I normally hate people who post stuff like this, but I trust the source.
