You can’t surely believe that Ange can’t see our frailties at set prices
Equally, you can’t surely believe that he and our coaches, especially our defensive coaches don’t point out our frailties to the players and try to rectify them
And surely you don’t think the players themselves are entirely blameless

PARK THE BUS 442 LONG BALL on 22ND DECEMBER 2021
———————————————————————————
Bit harsh on Ange there mo chara.
Thing is, Goodwin was smart enough to know Celtic were depleted. Flood the flanks with water on a sodden pitch. Give us all the space to slip up on the flanks, There was no chance of doing much. Ange fcuked up alright. Would have been better playing the centre halves as forwards and Abada at the heart of defence. Pump the ball into the middle of their box and fight for the second ball then fight for the third scraps. Shoot on sight.
Ange let us all down by not walking that park tonight before deciding his tactics. He probably still doesnt get it. That’s what will make him a loser every time we come up against a St Mirren or Livingstone. Football purists are losers in Scotland unless you adapt to every game,. Points make prizes.

Our desire to play sustained attacking football outside the penalty box leaves me a bit puzzled.
Time after time our wingers got the ball and danced / pranced just outside the box with little effort to take the ball inside with the potential that a bad tackle would deliver us a penalty.
Very surprised at this tactic / or lack of one given the importance of winning all 3 points tonight.
Another basic that needs to be passed on.

I said that in the post after yours. It was directed at “I was a jungle man” even though he never was
Agreed. Goodwin had his players well coached not to tackle when the ball was in their box.
Though it would have been good to see us get in there box more often, in the hope that one defender makes one rash challenge, that resulted in a penalty. Sevco are expert at getting into the opposition box, and creating 50/50 challenges – knowing it only takes one dodgy looking tackle to give the ref a decision to make.
Unfortunately we played too many passes outside the St Mirren box (which made life so much easier for their defending).

Gutted. The biggest miss for me tonight was David Turnbull. I have had many arguments on social media with people, supposedly Celtic fans, who think that hes more or less useless. Hed have been a threat tonight. Both he and big Rogic work together and switch when they want to. A sore night but may everyone have a Happy And Blessed Christmas.

I’ve seen Moffat at attacking midfield, through the middle, and he can be effective there

Well I don’t know about that.
What are we to do?
Give him endless amounts of Celtic supporters money so that he’ll be able defeat, Livi? St Mirren? Rangers?
Celtic are seen as the capitalist club, that doesn’t sit well with me.
Ange won the cup on Sunday which is brilliant to see Celtic winning any cup.
When the manager breaks or injures all of his players, then demands more money for more players, who’ll probably end up being injured or broken as well, isn’t it time Ange was taken aside by the board and told to rein in his philosophy as its breaching health and safety levels with all of these injuries, and the club isn’t a bank, and how can it be when Ange’s bullsh*t philosophy sees Celtic in amongst the European losers?
His philosophy sucks.

Give Ange money for players, after he’s already injured all of the other players with his bullsh*t philosophy.
Tell me the name of one serious team who were after Ange’s managerial services in the summer?

Oh, and don’t mention Celtic as a serious club, which then means that you can’t be taken seriously either.

It is a noted place in Scottish climbing circles.
Some of the most difficult routes are on it.

For those crying out for Kyogo to play tonight…
…. How would he at 1.7m tall have been effective against two banks of five camped outside their 18 yard line for 90 minutes?
His game is on the turn when teams press. Using movement and guile to beat the back line whilst waiting for a precision pass or lob.
That was never gonna be tonight’s game.
Some realism required.

Tell me one serious club that wanted Jock Stein as manager before Celtic got him
*How about English powerhouse Wolves on the retirement of legendary manager Stan Cullis who allegedly nominated Jock.
They had been 3 times First Division Champions as well as 4 times FA Cup winners, the last one a couple of years prior tae offering him the position.
It was also the city that first labelled deidco huns after they trashed it following a lavvy cup game.
Park the bus…just read that shit at 12.14
So you didn’t celebrate on Sunday ya Muppet?
Obviously you stood shaking yir first at the telly shouting “ya bassa, no serious team came in for you!”
Clown…with shoes to match and a wee routine that goes round in circles honking yir horn
ART OF WAR
I counted 3 clear cut chances for MJ alone
At least 1 for callum
1 for Abada
1 for Tony Ralston
1 for Tom Rogic
Even 1 for Scales
If only 2 of them had fallen for Kyogo he’d have scored at least 1
At the same time I think he needed rested
TONTINE TIM
I stand corrected
I never knew that and now to your superior knowledge
In fairness
I don’t think many people know that Wolves wanted him
Why didn’t he go?
Was he beaten to the job by others or was he selected and knocked it back for Dunfermline?
Now=bow
Tontine Tim, told ye b4 to get your memories in writing or other
Is it a dictatic memory you have?
Always fascinates me your recall of events.
I bet you can remember when Celtic where really shite. Tonight was just another on the journey!
