I don’t know why the midfield is copping the blame as they’re playing okay. The problem is you can’t play Abada, Kyogo and Maeda together against a resolute defense like that of ST M. So I question Ange’s selection here. All three can’t dribble and are easily nullified by a defenders who knows the wingers will try to head for byline. And there’s no space or ball for Kyogo to run into or onto. Definitely need to change at HT rather than at 60 minutes. Bring on Saed H for Abada, Big Gio for Kyogo and Jota for Maeda – makes sense!
