WN owns the decision to go 3 at the back – hes killed us defensively. Our organization has gone.
The board hired him knowing his formation.
It’s all them all.
But they won’t admit to being wrong so we’re left to hoping Hearts win this league.

I have refrained from criticising WN so far but his failure to recognise that 3 at the back doesn’t suit our players and so change it – even if only temporarily for such an important game – had me thinking exactly the same.
I haven’t spoken to a single Celtic supporter before today’s game who didn’t think we should have kept MON until at least this match.
Please Board bring him back til the end of the season and put our new manager on gardening leave til then. Give him a chance to get to know the players and the Scottish game. Otherwise the rest of the season is not worth thinking about.

When BR came in the second time he didn’t change Ange’s style overnight because it was all the players knew. He brought in his own style slowly, knowing we had to keep winning.
We had three massive games – against our league challengers, to get us to EL knock-out and to win a cup ffs. But Nancy is so arrogant he has to go with his MLS tippy tappy right away with almost no defence. I am waiting for a 5-0 skelping the next time we play a decent SPFL side.
He has to go.

Today is , at least partly , on WN.
The systemic failures over a number of years in recruitment , maybe even WN – time (maybe not a lot of it) will tell , is on the Board and biggest shareholder.
The fact is , as our record in Europe (last years CL aside ) shows , we’re just a very big fish in a very small pond whose only other real competition, this season aside , has self immolated for the last 13 years or so.
Tony Bloom must be wondering why he didn’t invest before now. I fear our board will be shown up by Hearts ( who only came out of Administration in 2014 ) as to how a club , properly managed and run with ambition and shrewdness , goes about its business.

WN isn’t blameless today by any stretch but is he to blame for :-
1. Terrible marking at their first goal
2. Schmeichel getting caught in no man’s land for the second and getting nowhere near any of their goals
3. Trusty abandons his player for the third when Donovan had the player with the ball covered?
4. Having no back up striker other than a League of Ireland player who is miles out of his depth
5. Tounekti being unable to produce any final ball , Maeda unable to control even the simplest of balls to him, Engels outmuscled constantly and
6. A bench full of no marks with no proper back up for in game injuries , let alone our 3/4 first team regulars who are injured long term?
The board and the players have huge responsibility here too.

The simple answer is,no Nancy does not know the ” Scottish game”.Not his fault. The fault lies with the ones who hired him,and chucked him into a maelstrom of games, unaided with a shit squad, that he HAS had to have thought was better than this.Fek,we knew them and thought that.Kidded ourselves on.That squad is useless.MON had run out of mileage with them.

If you want to blame the Manager they hired,THE BOARD IS GUILTY.

if I asked you how could we derail Celtics season – you would not invest in the team in the summer, you would lose alignment with the manager, the manager would quit, you then get rid of the manager who re-stabilizes us – you would bring in a rookie manager who plays a totally different system. What else , you woud present him at Lennox town , you would postpone AGM , you would send scandalous communications out on a regular basis.
THE CELTIC BOARD NEED TO FIRE NICHOLSON AND TISDALE AND WHOVER ELSE IS RESPONSIBLE FOR THIS HORRIFIC SEASON.
I Feel sorry for Nancy – but his naivety to change things so quickly at a vital time in the season is on him . Sticking with Engels is on him , playing mccowna on the wing is on him , playing maeda in the middle is on him.
He is scarred and will NEVER recover from this situation – he should quit or be fired – change the board , change the manager and we might , just might have something to play for.
THE BOARD HAS TO BE ACCOUNTABLE TOTALLY FOR THIS DISASTER!
