Well done St Mirren, thoroughly deserved. Well managed, trained and with a tactical set up that suits the players they have. Robinson seen enough of us to know where the holes are (no laughing at the back) and knows how to set up to cause problems for opponents.
Most importantly he knows how to get the best out of them and how to motivate so well done him – good to see Pepe that work their arses of get some reward.
As for us……..we are broken, completely broken and it starts from the top so nothing changes until they do so who knows what’s next.

Ach, so we’ve lost 3 games in a week. Its not all bad news, Michael Nicholson has earned 16 grand in that time.
Hopefully, can lessen some of the disappointment he’s feeling tonight.

Celtic don’t have the physicality to overcome the aggressive physical press which is now recognised as the way to counter Celtic’s intricate pssing football style. Countering Celtic is aided and abetted by referees who allow agricultural football to go unpunished.
Having said that, the Celtic team lacks defensive pace and strength – regularly bullied and often outpaced.
Celtic strolled through games when the opposition backed off and allowed us to play our style of passing football until we passed the ball into the net. Those days are gone.
If WN is to continue with his approach the team needs a massive transfusion during the Januay transfer window. Without it I fear that we can retain our champion’s crown

Likewise for our managerial search.
Who was involved in the decision making?
DD was the architect of the Brendan to Martin hostile takeover. Who decided on this change of direction?
Certainly CQN is likely to steer clear of this and write 500 words on the merits of defending the back post at corners.

As a club we have a tired, decimated and poorly re enforced squad with a good few who have stayed too long I think and a lot of long term and recurring injuries.
Add to that self inflicted internal strife and you can see a perfect storm here.
To then hire a manager in with a high tempo, ‘performance (entertainment?) first’ mindset when we are in the middle of a tough league battle was brave bordering on reckless.
For those that think this is a cheap hire option I think given the way he plays and the squad we have there will need to be serious investment to have any chance of making it work. Cheap would have been keeping MON for the season.
I am trying to stay positive, as I did when Ange came in and some of our own were losing the plot, despite getting Amorim at Man Utd vibes as you can see some good patterns and periods of play but I think without an amazing window this season is at risk of turning nasty and I pity whoever is in the Santa suit for the sheep game if we dont turn this around quick.
