    If Wilfried Nancy was given his P45 this evening it would be the first admission from this board of charlatans that they were wrong.

     

     

    This, and only this is the reason, that Wilfried Nancy will not be given his P45.

     

     

    Attempting to lay covering fire for them, is what i would expect from some of the riff raff on here.

    Worth bearing in mind – we chose this. The exec made a conscious decision to bring a new manager in now. Knowing the upcoming games. Knowing the upheaval we have seen thus far.

     

    Having asked WN about his outlook, his plans, his style, his vision.

     

    We chose to proceed with the appointment.

     

    Questions should be asked.

Sorry the MLS doesn’t count its not a real league. For a Celtic Manager it should be a prerequisite that they have a success e.g actually winning trophy and building squids . This guy is a phantom

    Hiring rookie managers is a Celtic tradition for whatever reason manufacturing our own stress its those in control that are constantly letting us down.

    Gutted tonight, but probably not as much as when the maestro had his penalty saved against Raith. Much gnashing of teeth about Martin( who I hold up there with our very best), but fans ignore the truth; Martin was brought in to steady the ahi and even by his own account, he thought it was a three to four game venture. His brief was clear: keep us in the league and see what we can do in Europe. He had the luxury of short termism. WN doesn’t; he has to bring in his own ways of doing things, show his value AND win things. So far not so good. But the club is in real turmoil; an out of touch and not fit for purpose executive; a would be owner who is sometimes interested, most times not; a support which quite rightly was seen as one of the most progressive and fair minded hoghjacked by a bunch of clowns who think they are uber fans singing about SAM missiles and Cy roubles which they very likely know nothing about. We have become arrogant as a club, as a support, as commentators( including you P67). We have to re-educate ourselves that nothing is entitles and everything has to be earned. We have made our bed with WN, time to lie in it.

    Anyone wanting to take refuge in a run of easier games coming up have seemingly overlooked that St Mirren have won 3 league games so far this season.

    Not to worry. I’m sure there must be lots of world-class managers with no ambition just waiting for a call from a like-minded club, where they can be lacerated when they leave, even if they have been successful.

     

     

    There is a saying in this life “pay cheap …..Pay twice”

    Well done St Mirren.

     

    A very basic team who done the basics right.

     

    And we were too all over the show to cope.

     

    Nancy has been too dogmatic and stubborn. He should have transitioned his team into the 3 at the back instead of being stubborn and dogmatic about 3 at the back or nothing from day one.

     

    He does not have the players to play that system.

     

    He should have seen that in training.

     

    Managers appointed from the MLS have a very poor record when they move to clubs this side of the Atlantic.

     

    He has gotten off to a dreadful start.

     

    He needs to show he has the skills at this level.

     

    Quickly.

    I’ve heard this guy talking.

     

    It’s garbage!

     

    Please fellow fans pay attention to this guy. It is clear he did no research on any of his opponents. Neither his own players. He very clearly is out of his depth and waffling his way through interviews. He talks in bullet points FFS!!

     

    The biggest biggest argument against him is this –

     

    He’s done 3 games – conceded from corners,each time. Have you ever seen a team do that???

     

    The guy is a charlatan who talks garbage.

     

    Even worse is this

     

    3 games –

     

    Ive never ever seen Celtic fans leave early. Thousands have for each of this guys games –

     

    His attitude is very clearly – no man is bigger than the club, excpt me.

     

     

    Please fellow fans let’s show unity and demand this guy gets sent packing back to USA

     

    Don’t forget there’s no relegation there!!!

    Fair enough, but then we get ourself into the death spiral of managers who have to play with other manager’s squads. We seemingly pursued this guy, brought in his back room team and gave him a two and a half year contract. I think most of us now believe that this season will not end well. I think we have to give him until the end of the season.

    Our last 3 games have seen us put in progressively worse performances. The regression is clear to see, yet our manager doesn’t change anything.

     

    Stevie Wonder could see where we are going wrong….why can’t WN….if he can’t see it…he is the wrong man for us….or maybe he can see it….but is too stubborn to change….if that’s the case…then we are in deeper trouble than we thought.

     

    GET HIM GONE…..NOW

    For me it’s taken 3 games for the lights to come on

     

    The people running our club are unable to reconcile their differences with a good Manager. They cannot buy a decent footballer

     

    Why would we expect them to recruit a good manager ???

     

     

    This is on Lawwell grinding down BR. It’s then on Nicholson for looking at his shoes Its ultimately on DD for allowing Lawwell run the show as he sees fit

     

     

     

    Nancy looks way out of his depth but to get rid means the board are public that they f—ked up. Again

    I’m at a disadvantage cos I never saw the game here downunder; it was in the middle of the night.

     

    Despite us having better players/back-ups in almost every position than any team in the country, that matters nowt if the other teams are better organised, settled in their formations and willing to scrap lustily for every 50/50 ball that becomes available.

     

    It matters especially cos we seem disorientated, confused and unsure about how much fight we have in us.

     

    We clearly failed to strengthen when in a position of relative strength and resource availability.

     

    In our conflict-ridden state, inferior and more cheaply assembled teams can get one over on top dogs like ourselves.

     

    As a club, our collective bottle has crashed and the rage-farmers are harvesting a crop on sites like these.

     

    How we went from the Bayern highs to doing Feyenoord a fortnight ago, to today’s situation is a real doozy.

     

     

    Any point in mentioning that we’re supposed to be faithful thru and thru in the current circumstances?
