‘STAND BY FOR A SPECTACLE,’ SCOTT BROWN

SCOTT BROWN reckons the fans will witness a Scottish Cup semi-final spectacular when Celtic lock horns with Inverness Caley Thistle at Hampden tomorrow.

The teams will go head-to-head for the right to play in the Final on 30th May where they will meet Falkirk, 1-0 victors over Alan Stubbs’ Hibs side earlier today.
Brown said: “We struggled up there in the 1-1 draw last week when they made a great effort of it.
“John Hughes has them playing some good, attractive football, as well. It should be a good game.
“They have a strong togetherness and they work very hard on their shape as well. They try to play the right way and, hopefully, that will suit us.
“Both teams like to play football. We like to get the ball down and play attacking football and, hopefully, Hampden is the perfect pitch for it.
“We haven’t had an easy draw in the competition so far, but if you want to get to Cup Finals you have to beat the best teams and that’s the way we are doing it.

“Inverness are in our road at the moment, but we are positive as we want to be and are looking forward to the contest.

“Of course, there is pressure on both sides. People talk about the Treble, but we still have a semi-final to play and it’s going to be hard game as we have struggled this season against Inverness and let’s hope we can do it.”
