In other matters, Newco chairman Dave King recently announced plans to step down this year, when the club holds a share issue to raise funds. Newco’s current PR is an acquired taste. It remains to be seen if a new owner, or ownership group, feel their profile would be best projected by the existing PR.
Still, at least he’s not burned bridges with the media.

The child has been charged not handed a life sentence.
I understand that being charged is a stressful experience but he does have his anonymity.
I’m not sure I’d have reported a child to the police but I wouldn’t be shouting racist abuse in a crowded public place either.
Some of you need to calm down.
Very unusual as I understand it for a minor (a primary school child) to be charged with such an offence. Did sumdae insist that charges were pressed? Was the fact of the charge more important than the proper disposal of this case?

At no point did I say he was guilty.
I’m not going to defend him either. It’s a matter for his solicitor.
Celtic fans falling over themselves to protect somebody they don’t know for an incident they weren’t present for is ridiculous.
Supposedly an off duty policeman who reported him? well I know who I will believe.

A bit strange he heard racist abuse.. when media were saying Morelos had it shouted at him. was he trying to get brownie point from themasons at work?.. though Morelos didn’t hear , and certainly would not have been able to make it out.. Did we hear what the racist term was? meant to be?.
Celtic at the time of the allegation of abuse of Morelos said they were also aware that at the same match the Celtic team and support were targeted by the away support , I hope they are demanding the match Commander if it was Sutherland or someone else has to make arrests and charge those involved, oh and publicise the fact that this has been done . Fight back
