BRIGHT Bhoy Kristoffer Ajer has revealed Celtic’s hectic schedule has forced him to shelve plans to study medicine.
The 19-year-old Hoops defender has ambitions to become a doctor once his football career is over.
But Ajer admitted becoming a regular in the Parkhead first team means there has been no time for studying.
He said: “It’s not easy to combine everything. This happens to a lot of people.
“There is so much football just now that the medical studies are on ice.
“In the summer, I will hopefully complete my history exam and get good enough grades to do what I want after football.
“But those studies will take place when I return to Norway one day. Then I’ll have the time.”
Ajer is currently in talks to extend his contract with the champions.
