Stunning endeavours on the Ben

614

Absolutely stunning tales of endeavour from those who climbed the tallest peak on these isles yesterday for the Ben Nevis Huddle to raise funds for Celtic FC Foundation.  The Foundation anchors our club to its founding principles, working locally and worldwide towards four goals:

Improve Health
Promote Equality
Encourage Learning

Tackle Poverty

It survives because lots of ordinary Celtic fans step forward, or put their hands in their pockets, because they believe Celtic is a lofty and noble cause.

If you’ve not been able to support any of the climbers direct, inspiration for the event is primarily the responsibility of Mark Cameron, you can find his Foundation linked MyDonate page here.

If you’re in business check out The Celtic Network’s new Service Finder’s opportunity to market to Celtic fans.

Visit the CQN Bookstore to get Tommy Gemmell to sign your personal copy of his book, All the Best.

  1. Kojo,

I see quite a few younger players heading off to Austria but I do hope that the idea of replacing Forster with Fasan is speculative to say the least. Fasan is nowhere near capable of filling the big man’s boots…today or in the future.

We should be building to achieve more success not hoping for the best.

I’m all for giving young players the chance,,,,but have seen enough of Fasan to say no.

  5. ***LUNCHTIME QUIZ***

So another coconut up for grabs in today’s 9-in-a-row special.

To the nearest 5,000 what was Celtic’s average home league attendance over the nine seasons of the famous and eternally original 9-in-a-row period?

To make this one easier, I’ve widened the margin for error.

Hint: For the hard of thinking, I am looking for one number, not nine!

***The rules of the game are always the same.

No search engines please, you’re only cheating yourself***

That’s a positive on the CV for Directorship at The Rangers. A man of conviction right enough

  7. Celtic assistant boss John Collins insists it would take ‘crazy bids’ to entice then into selling defender Virgil van Dijk.

The Dutch Under-21 international has been strongly linked with a move south of the border to England, with the likes of Southampton and Newcastle said to be keen.

Considering that Southampton got £30 million for Luke Shaw,I would hope that Celtic would not sell for any less than £15 million,if if the “Crazy bid”came in.

I see Pogba, another kid,is being touted around the £60-70 million mark.Did Southampton ever get a snip with Big Victor,or what?.

Will FIFA have the cojones to ban Robben, after he admitted to diving v Mexico?

    ;;;;;;;;;;;;;;

    No.

Will FIFA heve the sense to prohibit coaching staff access to players during cooling off period?
