We have two hugely important away games coming up, which will hopefully go a long way to determining the title, but I get the sense there is a subplot beyond that. Too many stories involving the words: Scott Brown, red card and dangerous tackle, have crept into the lexicon this week, all on the back of a ball-winning, non-dangerous tackle.
If I was a cynic I’d suggest the scene was being set for Scott Brown to be the focus of outrage and demands for his dismissal at every challenge during a cup tie coming your way soon.
Once we have the important games out of the way we’ll talk more about red cards, and the likelihood of Celtic picking one up at Hampden.
After 5-0 and 6-0 defeats to Celtic in their previous two games, Dundee took a clean sheet from Celtic Park last month, and had chances to take more than a point from the game. They have only won one game since, Saturday’s 5-2 demolition of Ross County, who they are nip-and-tuck with for the final top six place before the split.
Before that draw at Celtic Park, Dundee were on a seven game unbeaten run. Their form is nowhere near as good now, so I don’t expect them to be as adventurous as they were last month. They will sit-in and play us on the counterattack. The aforementioned Scott Brown and however partners him in central-mid have important defensive duties ahead.
After scoring 16 in his 15 appearances since the turn of the year, Leigh Griffiths hasn’t scored in two games – the first time he’s failed to score in consecutive domestic games since last season. Do not bet against him tonight.
Scotland’s biggest selling indigenous newspaper led with a powerful front page today:
“Confidential documents leaked from a secretive Charlotte Fakes expose how the grasping mega-rich elite hide untold wealth to avoid paying their fair share of tax, a plea to the poor and working class across the globe….
Wake up world and smell the corruption”
Well, almost. I added the “Charlotte Fakes” bit, which originally read “Panama bank”.
Concerns about how the leaked documents came into the possession of over 100 journalists didn’t get in the way of thousands of media outlets reporting the contents.
Ever wondered how the Cameron family could afford the very best education money can buy for their son, David? Now you know. Or have you considered that Leonel Messi and Michel Platini might one day be bunkbed mates?
You are free to ponder these questions without some poor sod having to pester the life out of police, prosecutors, football authorities and the Scottish media (at not insignificant personal risk), because most of the western world reacts differently to news of corruption than we do here in Scotland.
Congratulations to the Celtic Development Squad, who won the league after 25 undefeated games this season. Take a look at their league table:

It saddens me to make this, my valedictory post.
I have had too much enjoyment on CQN to continue in what is a poisonous atmosphere.
The craic was good at one time, Christ I even got a food parcel sent to me from far away Stornoway and many other good conversations, not just about Celtic but about everything from cricket to cookery.
Even BRTH’s Stransky tales and general yarn-spinning was enjoyable.
I will miss the good patter, but sadly, to me at least the site has become a holy place where to question the wisdom of the Auldheid or the other elders is sacrilegious so rather than spoil the party I am out of here.
I do hope that RES 12 succeeds for those who have faith in it and I hope that the requisitioners are ready for the spotlight that shines on them when, hopefully, they win.
At the end it is a case of whether one has faith in the board. I have no such faith and would ask that the names of my son Kevin, and his cousin Stephen are removed from RES 12 as I wouldn’t want to be seen to have persuaded them to back an exercise in obfuscation and delay by the Celtic FC board.

I have told you more than once you are too nice, you are getting accused of lying, double dealing, stealing, fraud, etc etc and you are replying as if someone had asked you for directions.
Grow a pair FFS.
But you wouldn’t be Auldheid if you did, you carry on trying to out the cheats and don’t bother yer arse about the agitators.

If and when, things go adversely for the Huns, whether it be through footballing authorities, the courts, whatever, I’m sure your resolutioners will claim collateral success.

My friends in Celtic,
The Development team. 25 undefeated games, winning the league at a canter.
When we move leagues we can leave the Development team in the SPFL where they will hopefully have some competion. Its the least we can do for Scottish football.
COYBIG tonight.
ONTHEWING on 5TH APRIL 2016 6:11 PM
Thanks ,
In Dundee now if anyone has a spare! :-)
Not sure Dundee will sit in and hit on the break as Paul 67 suggests.
They may be forced on to the back foot but Hartley knows his strengths are in attack and doesn’t do the negative tactics, I expect goals tonight.
Hemmings is in great form and Stewart will be a threat, Dundee will not spoil and I don’t expect them to be as physical as a Hearts or ICT.
I’m going for 2-1 Celtic.
Thank you Canamalar,Auldheid,Brth, Morrissey 23rd. Dry your eyes Ultra !! No matter the outcome of Res12 you guys are for me what our support is all about. Really shameful those who continually try to have a go at you guys personally & through Res12 i wouldn’t be so courteous & patient in your replies. More power to you bhoys. Canamalar i love your style you call it as you see it & don’t miss the mark. Away from res12 etc bhoys avoid tv & radio now & for the rest of the evening there is a four year old basket of assets with 50 odd tainted titles heading back to were they belong. This is the second year i have declined my tickets to hamdump (Very hard not to follow the bhoys) i will never set foot in it until Scottish football is on the level. Cqn for updates tonight cannae stomach the fantasy of smsm. Hail hail c’mon the hoops !

A Very Happy Birthday to the Woman who along with Big Jock Helped give Celtic there Greatest ever No7 and Greatest ever Player..
Happy Birthday Agnes..

The current furore regarding tax evasion as exposed by the Panama Papers, has surely snuffed-out even the remote possibility that the Supreme Court may reverse the HMRC EBT ruling.
Therefore, although I support the Res12 drive and hope for a positive outcome, the next big campaign must be predicated on the use of ‘financial doping’ by Rangers and its resultant prizes.
It may be that Celtic as a company and member of the SFA, will not be able to lead this case, I don’t know – crowdfunding might be the answer – let’s hope we are ready, willing and able, to take up the cudgels
Good evening friends.
Not really expecting to be able to avoid the score however Celtic TV are showing the full game ‘as live’ available in the UK after 10.00pm I believe.
Big Nan
I hate it when good Celtic men of integrity have a disagreement. Perhaps a cooling off period would be a good idea. CQN needs posters like you.
Please reconsider your decision to withdraw.
3pts the night
Good Evening.
A couple of new pieces hot off The Clumpany presses.
One about an extraordinary bit of hypocrisy from the Record who today attacked those who avoid tax…
https://theclumpany.wordpress.com/2016/04/05/death-hypocrisy-and-taxes/
And another more humorous one about how the MSM is going to ‘adopt’ Rangers creditors…
https://theclumpany.wordpress.com/2016/04/05/the-msm-adopt-a-rangers-creditor-scheme/
Three points tonight, please!
Looking forward to a great game and 3 pts tonight.
On the other hand – winter is coming:

Images not always great, but you’ll get the idea… :o(
Big Nan, There is absolutely no need for you to pack in CQN and I hope you reconsider. I must say I thought yourself & Kill Ultra were overdoing it a bit but as you say that is what opinions & debate is about.
Just wondering if you have any relations in Co. Tipperary. There are a couple of Minogue brothers I know whose family I believe came from Scotland. These lads are Celtic minded as well and I’ve sat with them at Celtic Park. It’s not a common name in Ireland but maybe it is in Scotland and my post might be akin to asking someone if they know Paddy Murphy from Ireland.
To say Big Nan and Kill Ultra are the only ppl on this site that don’t think Res 12 is going anywhere is a myth. Several posters on here have stated similar to myself at CQN Corner prior to games.
I’m now of the oppion that things are afoot that we aren’t privy to so I’ll just wait and see.
I do remember Big Nan asking what was going on couple of yes back and noticed he wasn’t getting the reply he was. Expecting
If I recall it was the whole secrecy issue that was his main concern.

Almost in Dundee, looking forward to another win, 1-0 will do for me.
An Tearmann.
Thanks for the kind post.
I laughed at the fields/ Cricket bat bit. So true!!!!!.
So many gangs.
My like of cricket stems from 2 consecutive summer’s spent in London in the late 70s. I became friendly with youths of Caribbean descent. Ever since then i have looked out for the W.Indies results. Not being English I was accepted by them as being a minority group too.So naturally I was delighted that both the men and woman won the T20. However, if I had said that I liked cricket when we were attending Bellarmine I think I would have been ostracized at best. They also introduced me to lovers rock music and a few other things,so all in all I think I learned more in two summers in London than I did in 4 years at Secondary School.
Fire in Babylon.
Hail Hail.
Off base I know but what. Is the date of the Scottish Cup Final? Thanks. H H Hebcelt
Tonight the Celtic play .. Everything else waits until tomorrow.
Safe trip to all those travelling to the game.. Give your usual 10/10 performance.

I am sorry to read of a Celtic supporter accusing Auldheid et all of being a liar, complicit in obfuscation etc.
We can have disagreements and express these in a courteous fashion. However, the line being adopted has more than a whiff of Level 5 ad hominem attacks about it or don’t confuse me with the facts, my mind is made up.
Again, God speed with Resolution 12 and May the chips fall as they will. HH
BIG NAN on 5TH APRIL 2016 6:03 PM…
I’m sorry to read that you feel the need to leave CQN.
I remember meeting you at a bucket collection with my daughter, I told her how you are a much respected contributer to the site.
Hopefully after some time off, you will be back posting and educating me. Hail Hail
Well done Embramike, trumped me twice.

well done Ronny – settled team at last – these are the ghuys to take down Dinamo Govan a week on Sunday too.
Tontine Tim,
now you mention it I think there was something in that but didn’t big Jock invent formations when he had too many good horses and no enough course ?
4-4-2 I understood to be an unknown formation prior to big Jock making it a must play.
Nir for Tom…. The rest same as Saturday
