SUNDAY BEST: CELTIC CUP DATE ANNOUNCED

CELTIC’S Scottish Cup fifth round encounter against Raith Rovers will be played at Parkhead on Sunday February 13.

The tie, which will be shown live by satellite broadcasters Premier Sports, will kick off at 4pm.

The Hoops’ previous Cup match against Alloa had a 5.30pm start last Saturday as Ange Postecoglou’s men had to overcome the over-physical challenge of inferior opponents before claiming their place against the Stark’s Park outfit with a 2-1 win thanks to strikes from Giorgos Giakumakis and Liel Abada.

Giovanni van Bronckhorst’s Ibrox side will travel to face Annan Athletic the previous evening a 5.30pm commencement. That game will also be beamed live by Premier Sports.

BBC One will show Hibs trip to Championship leaders Arbroath with the match scheduled for Sunday, February 13 with a 12.30pm kick-off.
