Sure things don’t exist in football

724

St Mirren lost at Tynecastle in November, their fifth consecutive in the league, but since then they have lost only twice: at Celtic Park and last Saturday, when the roof fell in against Ross County.  During that run they recorded good wins against Dundee United and Motherwell.  They sit second bottom of the league but this is an incredibly tight league.  Saints are as close to bottom Dundee as they are to second top Inverness.  In straightforward terms, St Mirren are a form team.

Anyone who believes Celtic are a sure thing better think again.

Remember the days when it would be impossible to get past 8pm and still not know Montrose earlier took a point at Ibrox? Sign of the times it wasn’t really news, I suppose.

  1. No point sitting around waiting expected anyone else to do it.

    We must do it.

A start would have been the much talked about show of disapproval by boycotting games in their midden.

If anything have 50 GB in attendance with a banner for the cameras to see. Failing that, a 90 minute sing song of …F…forget the SFA.

sipsini, I hope you decontaminated yourself after your foray onto hunmedia earlier. Mrs ACGR scrubbed me down with domestos but I still feel manky after visiting their lair.

It was well worth it though to see them beginning the process of self destruction. Next week will be even better when DUFC tear them a new ringpiece:-)

Even they know what’s coming to them.

No I cant substantiate it but I would be willing to bet that they are.

I don’t disagree mate, reason for my question is I am working on a project of sorts about the influence of Freemasonry in a variety of settings, including Scottish Football. I thought you may have had confirmation of brotherhood for the FTT boys.

It is, as you can imagine, a somewhat opaque subject, and it’s difficult to get a lot of information confirmed, though there are an incredible amount of rumours.

They are surely a ‘crafty’ bunch.

Nothing to do with bottle mi amigo.

I suppose it depends on what you want from life, and I don’t mean you personally, we wanted to give our kids a better chance, and we decided that scotland wasn’t the place.

We sold up, gathered a few bob together, it wasn’t much btw, but as Ireland was booming at the time, a job was not a bother, so we just did it.

We arrived in Ireland with about 6k brit pounds, we had a house to go to, down Limerick way, I also had a job to start, anyways the weans wanted to spend a few days in Dublin, so did the wife and I, we had a great couple of days, we had parked up in Smithfield just off the Quays, all our possesions were in the van, and as luck would have it, the van got robbed, I had stuffed our passports and our money inside the seat in the van, didn’t think it would be a bother as we had left our dug in the van, wrong, wrong, wrong, we got back to the van, and the dog was sitting outside patiently, robbed, with about 20 quid to our name, serious problem, so as luck would have it, the first sunday of the month, there is a pikie fair in Smithfield, we had to start selling what we had left, and again as luck would have it, the wife got talking to a crackin ol wan at the market and she took us in.

The fair was on the sunday, I got a job on the tuesday, lived with the ol wan for a couple of months, moved down the country and bought my first house for virtually nothing, was a fair drive to Dublin each day, but was worth it, after buying and selling nine places, right place right time, we moved to our we cave here.

No, I never had clubs at the time, I sold them to get a few bob to leave scotland.

I could sell you some clubs, I have about three sets just now,.

The best ones are a set of Ping Eye 2 red, one day in a golf shop in Dublin, came across them, second hand, they were on sale for 150 euros, they were dirty, not even washed, covered in mud etc, I said to yer man, wtf, 150, you have to be joking, I offered him 50, we agreed on 75, best deal I ever got, I also have another set that are Ping copy’s, Tour Edition, they were cheap as well, also another heap of clubs that would make up a set or toe, a few Nike clubs that are sort of rescue things, quality clubs, but as you are only allowed 14 in the bag………

That was a true story btw, Dublin/Irish people, salt of the earth.

  16. thomthethim, tet,

i also as exiled tim knows believe that agreeing to this socalled reconstruction under these men is cowardice, first alot

of previous generations have always said about the bias and cheating, now we have proof via dougie dougie and the sevco farce, they have in allowing the zombies in to the league without

accounts have shown it openly, this is what we have needed to finally nail them we owe it to ourselves and previous generations of our support [many who are no longer with us]to

speak up or forever be condemed to the back of the bus,

plc considerations is no excuse for not doing whats right

and finally let those generations who are not here anymore rest in peace.

  17. Am I the only bugger that thinks no Celtic supporter should be filling the pockets of the crooks that run the game in our country? It’s even sponsored by the Scottish Government! Ha

Oh we’ll, Meds then bed for this loon.

  18. danso_1888

Like izzy said earlier it’s up to the fans to sort this out…..but what can we do, really can’t see what options we have other than walking away, and that only hurts the club, who are doing wonderfull things, but seem to be willing to be shafted by the powers who only favour one club.

That I can not get the head around, take the great moustachioed one, he is a money man, a man who wants to leave scotland, and yet he seems to be willing to let the masonic cabal hump him, if he is not a willing participant, I have yet to see or hear otherwise, bothers me, so it does.

As you say, there is a duty to those who have gone before, they have taken the club to where it is today, they deserve better.

    So, the list comprises of….Puddins, Haggis, Black and fruit…in accending order >}

Confident enough about the morra, have the neighbours up to see a proper team, also a Boro fan, who still reckons that Bobby M is is fav ever player.

Only thing that can cos us bother is the turncoat with the whistle, but, it’s up to us to overcome that, sad that we should have to get to that level, but it’s scotland, and tis ever been that way.

    HH

    KTF

  21. to be honest for me the game is more or less over for me

because of the way reconstruction has allowed to presented by these men, i also believe that they will find a way of not taking titles of them, [which will be my final straw for sure]

have a look at what has gone on so far via the goverment, sfa, spl, sfl, msm, duff and phelps, judges, whyte, murray, anyone who

doubts this conspiracy in my opinion is deluded and finally and it pains me we as a club have been going along with these decisions without an objection,if they have objected it has been private and obviously not listened to, people keep saying say nothing why our we afraid? in the name of god there is more than enough evidence to say and do somthing already, ogilvy would be a start, no nothing and by the way this goes for all

other clubs not one who have called for a single resignation,

considering all that has happened and still being attempted does no one find this strange?and finally charlie and his band

[good one] can say and do what they like and it seems and the socalled powers seem well powerless, they have everyone scared it seems and you what? they know it.

“there would never be lack of motivation if sir walter was still there. he could just sit in the stands and when we were playing shite could just come down pitch side and cross his arms. Compare that to ally flapping his arms about bounding about the touchline, he was probably more energetic than half the team today, it just made me cringe. It is embarassing watching our manager bounce about while a player 5 feet in front of him strolls around”.

    …………………………………..
