SUTTON PRAISES ‘CLASSY BROWN’

CHRIS SUTTON has reacted to Scott Brown’s gesture to make a donation to the family of tragic ex-Celt Liam Miller.

The former Republic of Ireland international midfielder passed away last month with cancer at the age of 36.

The Hoops skipper will be honoured for 10 years’ service to the champions with a testimonial game against Martin O’Neill’s team at Parkhead on Sunday, May 20 – the day after the Scottish Cup Final.

Brown, 32, will make certain the glamour occasion, which is certain to attract a sell-out crowd with a 2pm kick-off, is utilised to benefit a number of charities, including the family of Miller.

Celtic goal hero Sutton expressed admiration for the club’s inspirational captain.

He took to social media to say: “Classy for Scott Brown regarding his testimonial and giving funds to the family of Liam Miller.”
