SWEDE DREAMS FOR SCOTT

CELTIC skipper Scott Brown is having Swede dreams before the Hoops take on Malmo in the Champions League play-off later this month.
The midfield dynamo reckons the club’s previous experience of playing opposition from that country in Europe will help Ronny Deila’s men in their quest to reach the group stages of the elite tournament.
Celtic have knocked out Helsingborgs and Elfsborg in recent years on their way to the group phase of the competition.
But Brown realises the SPFL four-in-a-row champions face a massive challenge from Malmo, particularly on the evidence of their victory over Salzburg in the previous round.
He said: “They beat Salzburg and we all know how good a team they are from last season, so we certainly can’t underestimate them.
“They will be definitely be hard games, but, hopefully, we can get a good result at Celtic Park in the first leg.
“It will help that we know a bit more about them and, hopefully, the weather won’t be as warm as Baku.
“They will be a good European team and we will know a lot more about them as the game draws closer.”
Brown, speaking on the Celtic website, added: “We have managed to keep a clean sheet against a good team like Qarabag after winning at home 1-0, so that should give us confidence.
“As always, the fans help us so much and it would be great if they could get right behind us again by turning out in big numbers at Celtic Park.”
