Now that it looks like Bayern Munich are finally going to hit the Big Time,* ( copyright 1967), it would be remiss not to mention that in between playing our way to the European Cup Final, four Celtic players helped Scotland defeat England 3-2 at Wembley in April of that year, Ronnie, Tommy, Bobby, (who scored) and one Willie Wallace of this parish. Murdoch and Johnstone were both injured, preventing the possibility of a line-up including Johnstone, Bremner, Murdoch and Baxter.
