Thai Tims repel hostile Scottish press

The Daily Record gave excellent news coverage of the Thai Tims during their visit to Scotland and Ireland this month but the Good Child Foundation, to give them their formal name, have sought input from the Press Complaints Commission after a columnist jokingly asked if the kids were being used as slave labour to stitch Celtic kit.

The Good Child Foundation does enormously good work in educating and developing children, some of whom have Downs Syndrome.  They do not expose children to illegal work.  Their leader, Paul Lennon, is the epitome of all that is good about our club; compare and contrast to any organisation on the planet you care to mention.

A quick word on idle speculation……..

Practically every word of alleged criminality that has appeared on football blogs in recent days is wide off the mark.  Please remember the basic rules of law and our own rules of good manners.  Do not accuse anyone of a criminal act, doing so may be illegal and could undermine any future prosecution.  If they have been charged, use the word ‘alleged’ until a conviction is secured, and most pertinently of all, if you are so insistent that your information is true and just must be read, leave your name and address with your comment.  If you email me your address, for verification I’ll send you a postcard with a code, which you can return to me.  Then everyone will know how to get in touch with you to send their congratulations.
