ANGE POSTECOGLOU has returned to football management – as Cristiano Ronaldo’s boss at Al-Nassr.
The Saudi Arabian Pro-League side clinched the title last season by two points under Jorge Jesus, but the Portuguese coach, believed to be on a salary of £10million-per-year, left the club shortly afterwards.
The cash-rich Middle East have now moved to appoint the former Celtic gaffer on a similar contract, according to a report in The Scotsman.
Sixty-year-old Postecoglou, currently involved in TV media work at the World Cup Finals, has been out of mainstream football since being sacked by Nottingham Forest in October last year.

The popular Greek-Australian was introduced to Celtic fans in the summer of 2021 as successor to Neil Lennon after the club’s first trophyless season in 11 years.
Postecoglou immediately got the side on track, won the Premiership title and League Cup in his debut campaign and followed up with the domestic treble before leaving for Spurs.
He was dismissed by the London club after two years, despite winning the Europa League, overcoming Manchester United in the showpiece finale.
Postecoglou will now pit his wits against his Hoops successor Brendan Rodgers in Saudi Arabia with the Northern Irishman now in charge of Al-Qadsiah after leaving the champions in late October.
