There is nothing particularly exceptional about this. Ange Postecoglou is a sporting hero in Australia, the higher value offered to Celtic reflects this. If he was at Ibrox, the story would be different.

All they are, are an alternative to the failing fiat currencies, and there can be no doubt that they are failing.

If I had a choice, it would be Jota for me. Harder position to fill, younger and great sell-on.
Not sure I can say the same for CCV, as much as he has been great this season. Lots of younger talent out there for our scouts to source.

Pleased to read Ange has got plans for both sets of players in their training more intense for players with less game time and improvement rather than recovery for the others.
Hoping that means more technique and flair moves evident earlier in the season and at the stage where weather should be improving, it would be great make steps towards the title but importantly with style.

Could be but I suspect he is a big fan of CCV too. I think he’ll have suitors at the end of the season, get offered more money but probably fade into the background in a league he has struggled to command a place in.
I’d be happy to retain him but think we have a ceiling on the value and Spurs will inevitably take the pee. He’s 25 at the end of the year and it’s depreciation time after that I’m afraid. Could we get better at 19/20 ? Probably says I, without a sentimental bone in my old body :)

Without player sales Celtic would make a loss each season. Season ticket revenue does not even cover salaries. Without some money in the bank we are a ‘hostage to fortune’, e.g. Covid & legal eventualities.

I don`t always agree with some of the things the GB do but there is no doubt that they are committed supporters. They are also often maligned for the actions of others who congregate in 111.
Any GBers I have spoken with are have shown themselves to be quite intelligent young men and far removed from the Ultras of other clubs.
