Slightly annoyed at being moved from the Upper North tonight but after experiences of League Cup games at this time of the season against Partick, Falkirk and Morton, it’s probably no bad thing that atmosphere is concentrated up close and personal to the field. Celtic Park can be an intimidating theatre, but League Cup nights need some crowd management to make it so.
Remember, it’s a 19:15 kick off, so don’t pitch up midway through the second half!
We’re less than three weeks away from the Great Scottish Run and my Celtic Foundation T-shirt has just arrived. If you are registered to run and would like to raise £125 for the Foundation’s work towards Health, Equality, Learning and Poverty, email them here and they’ll be in touch.
It’s not too late to register for the event itself, which you can do here.
I know the call goes out often, and I know everyone cannot get involved, but the community of Celtic fans is anchored in a tradition of caring for those in need. We need to continue to tell this story and ensure the message is not lost. I have a MyDonate page here, if you can help out.

I never mentioned Milibands speech. I did however see him stuttering through an interview on the BBC that morning.
He instills no confidence and I expect Cameron to wipe the floor with him (unfortunately). Farage will also have a field day with Miliband. He may be a good speaker but can he debate? We will find out soon enough.

Livi players gambling their cash away in the local bookies many moons ago. Think Davie Hay was manager at the time. They were just bored. Betting on dugs or anything that moved.

At least they wouldn’t be losing money on Stokesy then :-)
It is sad though, I remember reading about Michael Owen and his betting whilst at Liverpool. The sums were obscene.
Aff to get the boss.
okay … since my last post on football didn’t get a reaction or response …. other than political comments, lets see what might get a reaction on CQN today ….
I am typing this while seated at my desk, naked as the day I was born. Hope my secretary doesn’t pass by my office any time soon…
Amongst the many famous ex-Red Coats are Jimmy Tarbuck, Michael Barrymore, Des O’Connor and Ted Rogers.
Not all of these guys voted No in the recent referendum.
Ted Rogers was responsible for explaining Alex Salmond’s economic policy in the same way he explained 3-2-1 clues.
Regarding this group called islamic state.one thing i dont understand is that these people didnt appear from thin air, they must have gathered somewhere, trained somewhere ,been financed by someone…i mean surely the west with all its technology knew about these people, so it raises the question, why has nothing been done until now? I would really like to know peoples take on this..

Good article on how to load debt onto a company. Thanks
Makes one wonder what Sir Minty of The Levered finance first felt like back in 1988,when he first started to get a ‘bit o tick’ out on his assets?( Debt -(hi mr masterton) financed so called success.
Probably much the same as 14th june 2012. When the cva failed.
It was another of his paper companies burning
And since Sir Chaz of the jittery eye
He has done not bad for his £1 in a slightly different and less honourable way since.

When you de-stabilise a country, even the cruel regimes of Iraq and Syria, you create a space for great hatreds to emerge. The Saudis are the prime suspects in the creation of some of these loose groupings but The West has found both the Saudis and the Taliban to be useful allies at times and we helped finance and create them just as we once financed and created the more secular regimes of Assad and Saddam Hussein as a bulwark against Iran.
You could be forgiven for thinking that we do not know what we are doing when we enter these areas or that our main strategy is to create chaos and see what happens. Either way, Halyburton gets paid.

You’ll have to try harder than that :)))))))))))

Currently in Nice and looking for a bar that will show the game. I have checked Celticbars.com but no listings for Nice.
A couple of bars are showing English games but no sign of Celtic on their lists.

Setting free the bears…so order(and profit)from chaos?
Thanks for the recognition.
I was getting increasingly desperate, and was thinking I might have to threaten to flounce and say I was going to read Sevcomedia…. (but I was feeling kinda dirty even saying that in jest!) … so, thanks!

Forget about the game ya daftie. It’ll be rubbish. Get your rollerblades on and get yourself cruising up and down the Promenade des Anglais wearing a pair of oversized headphones.
Guys, I am not going to post on politics for a while, probably for aboot 8 months.
Our manager has put all his eggs in the League cup basket as it’s the first trophy he can win.
He must be the only manager in a major European League who keeps his best players fresh for the countries lesser competition probably sacrificing league points in the process.
Play your best team in every game, change players when they get injured, or tired near the end of the season when everything is won.
I hope his plan is better than mine but it’s not proving to be so…………..Yet.

We all know he has made mistakes. When you are not winning though you must play your strongest side to get back on track.
I have been told Griffiths will start tonight. That appears to me that Ronny is thinking horses for courses. 5-1 Hoops Griffiths hat trick then a red card for jumping into the Hearts end naked – That will be Mike in Toronto’s fault tho ;-)

Bawsman,
How many major European teams can afford to do that?
How many actually still have a league cup?
Can my mate have your final ticket should we be lucky enough to get there? ;)
