COLOMBIAN striker Camilo Duran has been pictured going through routines with Celtic at their Portugal training camp.
Earlier yesterday, Qarabag head coach Qurban Qurbanov revealed the deal, which could rise to £5.5million for the frontman, had not been made official.
Yet the Azerbaijani side were prepared to go into their crucial Europa League qualifying first leg against Iceland’s Vestri last night without their main man.

The team still won 3-0 without Duran and afterwards Qurbanov, speaking to the club’s YouTube channel, admitted: “Camilo Durán had his own specific qualities. We used them as much as possible.
“It would not have been bad if he was still here.”
It’s all very curious. What would have happened if Duran had sustained a serious injury in a freak training ground accident?
Do Celtic rubberstamp the deal? Or send him back to Qarabag with the contract still incomplete?
It’s all very puzzling.
There can be little doubt there is a piece of red tape yet to be satisfied and the mere fact Duran is actually in Portugal and getting to know his new team-mates may more than suggest the move WILL get the green light.
An announcement could be made today to clear up the mystery.
