HALF-TIME is usually uneventful. Time to grab a pie and bovril or head for a much needed pee if you’ve had a few drinks before the game. The prawn sandwich brigade retire to their comfy lounges and are usually all not back in their seats until 5 minutes after the re-start.
If the game is at Celtic Park many people spend the interval trying, mostly unsuccessfully to get onto the internet (which worked remarkably well on Wednesday night incidentally with the smaller crowd). But mostly half times are never the highlight of anyone’s match day experience.
Except on one very special occasion.
