I see several “fans’ groups” are engaged on the subject of our old friend, Juninho, who played around 13 games for Celtic eight years ago and benefited from an Employee Benefit Trust before and during his time at the club.
Can you believe this is where their focus is?
As Sir David Murray and a gaggle of his former directors will tell you, there is nothing illegal in EBTs, it’s the undeclared second contracts the football authorities have a problem with. Juninho’s EBT was not subject to any contract or side letter whatsoever. Moreover, our then chairman, Brian Quinn, regarded EBTs with suspicion and instructed the club to declare Juninho’s to the Revenue. Celtic even paid tax on money paid to the EBT.
The SFA and SPL, and every journalist in Scotland interested in getting a story right, are fully aware of the facts.
I suppose running with this beats looking at links between Green and Whyte. Keep up the good work, guys!
And for the record, stripping titles is not the ultimate sanction, not by the length of Argyle St.

We’re actually commenting on the days of the media being able to dictate wider football discussion through priveliged access to data. Now that access is more or less open to all, those days have gone.
There will always being suspicion of refereeing decisions, whether it’s warranted or not.
My problem with Charlie Mulgrews suspension , why did it take up until the day before our first league game for us to be notified and if you are getting suspended – why was it not the next game ?
And finally , have Celtic asked for clarification on the process ?

Oh aye, next to the ole cockpit, not been in but it looks the business,I was going to recommend Bibis across the road originally.

Excellent choice mate , looking forward to that HT draw .
Just about to depart for 4 days in Gweedore.
Look after Celtic while I am away and enjoy our continuation of our 100% away record in European ties on plastic pitches.
Hope to see thom the thim, Noel 90 and, maybe Ard Macha while I am over but any others around are welcome to try Sean Ogs for the Helsinki game.
Charlie Mulgrew’s friendly red card, and 103 days since McCoist outburst at SFA panel.
Pay at the gate tomorrow at Ibrokes looks like Sevco are hoping to pick up some of the fans of Ragers, who have no one to support since they died.
Three and out

…………………..
UP THE ROSSES!!!!
The only change in Scottish Football from last year is that the SFA could no longer hide or support the cheating of RFC in the SPL any longer, it had gotten to big to swept under the Widow’s Son’s carpet.
The Compromise was to gerrymandered the said cheats into SFL3 this is only a victory if the SFA and the SPL are taken apart, the responsible people punished and the whole thing rebuilt anew.
As long as the same faceless deal makers are in place we can expect more of the same as we have faced for as long as I can remember as a Celtic Supporter, our suspensions immediate, Fatboys months, our red cards today while others walk from the SFA smiling, strange a downright suspicious referee performances, nothing has changed except forced by public pressure the SFA appeared to punish RFC.
When Sevco eventually go bust quite probably without finishing this season who then will take responsibility for giving a license to play football to a club with no accounts and even less financial stability??
The game is rotten to core and until that changes Celtic will always be fighting against so the time now is for Unity of the Celtic support until this fight is over and then we can all go back to our beloved Happy Clapper/ Mineshafter debates…
Disband the SFA..

Only then will the fans get the impression that we’re all kicking the same ball. imo :o)))

The Token Tim. I agree. Celtic doesn’t need to say or do anything on this matter. Far better to let the huns stew and fume in their denial, bitterness and whataboutery.
One can only imagine what all this is doing to their collective mental and physical wellbeing.
Oh Dear. What a pity. Never Mind!

I think that rule is for big games, or big teams. Fine for newclubs in Div 3.
O.G.
Yip, another outstanding issue.
Paul
You are spot on as usual
This is yet another attempt at deflection
The press know there is no story here but it suits Minty’s purpose – so it gets played
Spot on about punishment too – the stripping of titles and honours will be a CONSEQUENCE of breaking the rules – ask Ben Johnstone about his medal being removed – that was a consequence of cheating not a punishment.
His punishment was to be disqualified for the next 2 years or so
The huns will lose titles as a consequence of cheating
Punishment for cheating on an industrial scale for over a decade should be expulsion from the SFA
Heard from a good source that a certain titled Edinburgh based businessman and his company can expect to need a good brief in the medium term future!!
HH
PS – heard Sevco want to have Usain Bolts and Jessica Ennis’ Olympic histories transferred to th – as well as Real Madrid’s European Cup history
Their jersey will now have 15 stars !!!!
Think it’ll be another 20 years till we see ole Alan Wells on TV again?
BSR. Given that Green is an archetypal Yorkshire tyke, should thems no be called T’ T’ T’ Rangers? ; )

I’ve been thinking about it for weeks Kev, what would Celtic actually say right now?
What statement could they make that
a. Wasn’t full of if ands buts and maybes
b. would be completely misconstrued and misreported by the press as “Celtic Attack Rangers”
Which is exactly what they want of course to muddy the waters of corruption even more.
I’m happy with the way Celtic has played this so far and until we have hard facts from the investigations any statement from Celtic would just be speculation or threats neither of which would benefit us.
My main concern today is beating Helsinki on Wednesday and trying to remember that it will get a whole lot worse for the follow followers before it’s gets even worse..
Patience is what I need!
